Mariontunet - Cozy Log House Isfjorden-Romsdal.

Large and cozy wooden house by the Romsdalsfjord. The house is located in Brevika/Isfjorden, ten minutes drive from Åndalsnes centre. Great view to the fjord and the mountains in Romsdal! The house is 200 years old, newly renovated and modernized. All fascilities included. The house has access to the beach within short distance. The closest grocery store is 3 minutes drive. The space Welcome to Isfjorden/Åndalsnes, the mountaineering capital of Norway. On our small farm we have (in addition to our own house) a beautifully restored 200 year old Log House which we happily rent out to you. The house is situated ten minutes drive from Åndalsnes and has a beautiful view to the Romsdal mountains and the fjord. The Log House has a fully equiped kitchen with everything you need for cooking, a dishwasher, coffee and tea maker, fridge with freezer, highchair, woodstove, and a large dining table for 8 persons. The livingroom has a large sofa for relaxing, tv, wi-fi, and an old woodoven which gives a good and warm atmosphere. From the livingroom you can enter the porch which has a beautiful view and a "fire-pan" for bbq or cozy bonfire. The porch is facing west which gives a great afternoon sun. You can even enjoy the porch on rainy days sitting underneath the shelter with candles and warm blankets enjoying the view. The bathroom is spaceous with heated floor, shower, washing machine and dryer. The two master bedrooms are spaceous and contain one double bed and one single bed. One of the rooms have a crib for an infant/child. The smallest bedroom has two single beds. So being an old House, there is a quite steap staircase up to the sleaping area. In your kitchen you will find a wide selection of teas, and basics like cooking oil, spices, etc. If you wold like to taste freshly roasted coffee from a local roastery, it can be arranged. If you are looking for guided tours in the mountains we can arrange that with local people. We look forward to meet you in our relaxing surroundings and it will bring us much joy to be your host. Other things to note The staircase up to the bedrooms are a bit steep. And the bathroom is on the ground floor. So you have to go down the staircase to get to the bathroom.
