Villa Prima in Southern Crete

Villa Prima is a new built residence situated at the foothills of Psiloritis mountain, just outside the traditional village Magarikari. Peace and quiet of the location will help you rest your mind while a walk in Cretan nature will revive you. Villa Prima has an amazing view of Messara bay, Paximadia islands and Kartalos mount, which all together create a scenery you will never forget. The cozy yet luxury environment makes it perfect destination for nature lovers, families or large groups. The space Villa Prima is good starting point for beautiful lοcations of south Crete. Some of the sunny beaches that are close to the villa are Kataliki (Kokkinos Pyrgos), Agia Galini, Pachia Ammos (Afratias), Komos, Kokkini Ammos (Matala). For those who prefer adventures in the mountain, Villa Prima is close to the Lake of Zaros, Kamares Cave, Rouvas' Forest. Also, in close distance to Villa Prima are the archaeological sites of Festos, Agia Triada and Komos. If your plan is to rest your mind watching the beautiful view and discover the local region on foot then Villa Prima is at the center of many amazing paths. Some of the destinations you can visit are Koules of Grammeni (Turkish fort) [2 km], Kartalos mountain [5,4 km], Panagia Kera [1,8 km], Timios Stavros [5,1 km]. On your arrival and during your stay I will be more than happy to suggest locations and places you can visit according to your taste. Villa Prima is build into two levels and divided into two apartments (ground and 1st floor) capable of hosting up to 8 guests. Although it is a new built residence following modern architecture and techniques for the construction, we tried to preserve the traditional character of the village using details such as grey stone walls, cement path walks, wooden external doors and windows, wooden pergolas and lot of planting and trees on the surrounding area of the plot. Ground floor apartment has a spacious living area with a kitchen equipped with refrigerator, oven, stove and a lot of working space. In front of the kitchen there is a round dining table for six people looking at the amazing view through the big sliding door. Enjoy the view from the two windows or watch satellite smart TV sitting on the couch and the armchair of the living room. Just outside there is an external dining table for six people under a big wooden pergola. You will find the washing machine and the dryer in the hallway just outside the bedrooms. The main bathroom has a bathtub, toilet, sink and a hair dryer. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and a big closet and also a private bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. The secondary bedroom has two single beds which can be joined into one queen size bed. Also there is a big closet and sliding door with view to impressive Kartalos mountain. 1st floor apartment has a spacious living area with a kitchen equipped with refrigerator, oven, stove and a lot of working space. In front of the kitchen there is a square dining table for six people looking at the amazing view through the big sliding door. Enjoy the view from the two windows or watch satellite smart TV sitting on the couch and the armchair of the living room. Just outside of the kitchen there is balcony covered with pergola with an external dining table for six people. There are two bathrooms in the 1st floor apartment. The main bathroom has a bathtub, toilet, sink, hair dryer, washing machine and dryer. The secondary bathroom has a a big shower, sink, toilet and a big window with view! The main bedroom has a queen size bed and a big closet and also a private balcony looking at the impressive Kartalos mountain. The secondary bedroom has a big closet and two single beds which can be joined into one queen size bed. Enjoy the breathtaking view from the «infinity horizon» swimming pool with salt water while our younger guests can enjoy their stay playing in the children's pool. There are 8 sunbeds available in Villa Prima where you can lay down and enjoy the sun. On our garden you will find areas of various local herbs, plants and trees and a big area covered with grass where you can enjoy the shadow of an old olive tree. Take a walk into the 1.700 sqm exterior surrounding area of the villa and find your personal best spot to enjoy the view. In the plot there is a barbeque area covered with wooden pergola where you will find a charcoal barbeque and a traditional (stone built) wood oven. Guest access Our guests can visit every space of villa prima except the basement storage and the machinery room of the pool. Other things to note Due to maintenance of the grass and the pool I will have to visit you if your stay is longer than a week. Of course we can arrange that in the most convenient time for you! According to Greek Law, 15,00€/day tax is paid at check-in for booking between April and October while 4,00€/day tax is paid at check-in for booking between November and March.
