At 8,900 feet of elevation, the home is a gateway to an amazing winter playground and also serves as the perfect summer retreat, with a million acres of national forest land at your doorstep offering all your favorite mountain activities. It’s only a 2 minute walk to Twilight Lake for fishing and paddle boarding and as well as Purgatory Flats Trailhead, one of the most scenic hikes in the San Juan Mountains. Horseback riding, jeep trails, an alpine slide, epic mountain biking and the Purgatory Inferno Mountain Coaster are all less than 5 minutes from the home. For an additional (and optional) 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility.
