Lower Cleikum Mill is a homely ground floor self catering 3 bedroom apartment (Sleeps 6) at Innerleithen , in the heart of the Tweed valley a great location for exploring this lovely area , and an hour to Edinburgh by car or by bus. Pubs, cafes, shops ,restaurants, takeaways a stroll away. Three bedrooms with ensuite shower and toilet. Internal bike store ,drying room ,washing facilities for bikes/ kit. The space We have a passion for the area can help advise you and help with walking ,cycling and mountain biking advice and the best attractions and castles. Walks to the hills or along the River Tweed from the front door. The Property is entered via a front door into hallway. Features: Linen included ,electric stove, dishwasher, micro wave, toaster, kettle, dining table seats 8,desk, Maps, Walking routes, cycling routes, Tourist advice folder, Leather chairs in lounge ,TV with basic satellite and recording, facilities. Additional table sits 4. Internal bike store with chains to secure bikes (bring own locks), drying room with proper dehumidifier ,washing machine, tumble drier, hanging space. a key will be issued to lock the door on the bike store. Downstairs toilet in hall ,hose for boot / bike wash with brushes etc. Four bike shops in town. Bus from the door to Edinburgh or to Border Rail at Galashiels Station. Shops , Butcher and fresh produce nearby. The building has always been apart of the community since its conversion from a Mill and before that a Drill Hall. Guest access Exclusive use of downstairs Apartment accessed through a lockable door. No other people in the building. Other things to note Bed linen and towels provided. Tea and coffee available. We do not supply shampoo or soaps in the bathrooms. There is a private door which opens into the Lower Mill area this is lockable. If you think you may prefer the whole building to yourself choose the Cleikum Mill sleep 10 option and you can spread out even more using all 5 bedrooms and 2 lounges etc etc. No other people in the building during your stay.
