The Old Lagar- oven

Located within a 3000 square meter property, the house is an example of Terceira’s traditional architecture: made of stone walls, the main facade looking south, with wooden roof and tiles traditionally handcrafted using local materials. The house was restored in 2018 maintaining the original construction plan and preserving some structures of historical interest, such as the water reservoir, the furnace and the press, lagar in Portuguese, from which the house takes its name. The space The house is located in Cinco Ribeiras on the main street and consists in two floors with an independent apartment on each floor. This description refers to the first floor apartment. The apartment is an open-space with wooden floor, has a double bed in the sleeping area and two single beds in the living area, a fully equipped kitchenette and a fully equipped bathroom. The furnishing integrates traditional furnitures with objects made with passion and creativity by the owner itself. Guest access Access is to the whole apartment. There are two recreational areas on the outside where guests can spend some time during the day Other things to note The island offers many activities and things to see/do: culture, sport, nature, folklore and music.
