River View Cottage ... on the Breede River ! Now Loadshedding free ! Nestled inside the truly unique "Breede River Lodge & Fishing Resort " in Wistsand - Port Beaufort ! Enjoy views of the mighty Breede River from a quaint 2 bedroom Fisherman’s Cottage with 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, patio with seating and some river views, an outside garden and braai area. Wifi and DSTV. Newly decorated, clean & comfortable offering a unique getaway for couples or a family of 4. The space River View Cottage offers access to the unspoilt paradise that is Witsand. The beautiful Breede River Lodge and Fishing Resort and Lodge is truly unique in style and architecture. The Cottage is set at the edge of the resort on the ground level - offering close access to the new Spasie restaurant and the River banks. Private parking is just inside the gates right outside the unit. The cottage has two bedrooms, a main bedroom downstairs with a Queen size bed with glass sliding doors leading onto a front facing river view patios, and a loft bedroom with 2 single beds, upstairs, accessible by a steep wooden steps. The loft bedroom has a skylight with a view of the River and two comfy single beds. Please note: Guests need to be able to climb stairs to sleep in the loft bedroom - able bodied guests will have no problem with the steps even though they are steep! The open plan kitchen is fully equipped and the lounge area has comfy seating with glass sliding doors that lead onto patio with some views of the river. The lounge has comfy seating, colour TV with selected DSTV channels and a lovely fireplace for cozy winter nights. Relax on the patio chairs watch the river views and listen to the beautiful birdsong provided by a multitude of birds. The main en suite bathroom has a bath, basin and toilet and the smaller separate bathroom has a spacious shower, basin and toilet. Bedding and bath towels are provided. Please bring you own Beach towels and all toiletries as we provide hand soap at the basins only. The Lodge has its own clear blue swimming pool, the Spasie restaurant with a pub and look out deck only 50m away. The Lodge's private harbour is right in front of you with private mooring for your boat if needed. From the Jetty you can watch the arriving fishing boats and inspect the fish. Our guests are welcome to make use of the swimming pool in the complex. Boat trips and kite-boarding lessons can also be booked on site. Walk another 150m from the Cottage and you are on the spectacular Breede River Banks where the freshwater of the Breede River and the saltwater Indian Ocean meet. Its Blue Flag swimming beach with warm water, white sands, magnificent drift wood and rock pools. Guest access We offer one private secure parking bay right outside the cottage. Please request info on Boat parking if you intend to bring your boat -- as no boats are allowed to park inside the complex in the car park. There are various options for Boat storage with different costs in Witsand !
