The large garden and orchard offer 180 degree views of the Condroz and a vast meadow occupied by two horses and a donkey. Description Phrasie's house, named after her occupant when our grandfather Maurice acquired it, is the most spacious of the two houses. It has been completely renovated with respect for its authenticity. It combines charm and comfort to offer you an exceptional stay. Phrasie's house consists of five bedrooms: three large double bedrooms and two interconnecting bedrooms, each with two single beds. 1. Leon's Room The large master bedroom has a king size bed of 1.80 m. It's decorated in bohemian style. A small reading nook, with a library filled with family books is set up to enjoy a moment of tranquility. At the time, this part of the house hosted the barn. 2. The Room of Mauritius The second large bedroom features a queen size bed of 1.60 m, a vintage crib, a wardrobe and a pine dresser. The beams on the wall are exposed and the wall is sandblasted from the era. 3. Daisy's Room The third bedroom has a 1.40 m bed and an old-fashioned wardrobe. Its romantic style will seduce you. 4 and 5. Antoine and Marie's rooms The two interconnecting “twins” bedrooms are furnished with four adult single beds. They are designed to accommodate children in a dorm. If needed, the twin beds can become two double beds. Both bedrooms are separated by a braided wooden wall. 6. Bathrooms Phrasie's house has a large bathroom with bath and toilet. The mirror and sink fixtures are installed on an old wooden door. The beams are exposed to preserve the authenticity of the house. The house also has a separate shower room. 7 Living rooms The house has two living rooms: a TV lounge with a large corner sofa and a working wood stove to warm you up in the winter. We have put at your disposal board games in the library of the TV lounge. This living room opens to the outdoor terrace, with an orchard view. The second lounge is in the dining room and open plan kitchen space. This living room also has a tape to make a fire in the winter. It consists of a four-seater sofa and three armchairs. Wood for fires is not provided with the house. The dining table is always covered with a tablecloth and a protective sub-surface that we ask you not to remove. In the large dishwasher are all the table equipment and small appliances: percolator, toaster, pierrade/raclette,... A floor outlet allows you to install table appliances for added comfort. 8. The kitchen The kitchen is open to the dining room with a counter on which are arranged the fruit dishes and breakfast area. coffee machines “Senseo” and “Nespresso” are available for your use. The kitchen is new and fully equipped: dishwasher, stove with cooking cups and oven, microwave and fridge freezer. The cooking equipment is new and of high quality. We have water jugs and a cold drink jerrican. The water on the tap is of excellent quality. 9. The entrance hall The entrance hall gives access to the staircase that leads upstairs. The hall has a coat rack, shoe cabinet and a toilet. 10. TV and internet The house is connected to Proximus (TV and internet). The internet connection of the house works with WiFi relays of which just scan the QR code. 11. Bed sheets and bath towels Bed linen and bath sheets are not provided, they can be rented for an additional fee. 12. Terrace and garden The large garden next to the terrace is facing south and is private. We have installed the wooden pallet outdoor lounge and a large picnic table for 10 people The umbrellas, sun loungers, a barbecue and a fire pit are at your disposal. In the orchard, to share with the other house, The pétanque court awaits you as well as the swing, hanging from the apple tree. It is strictly forbidden to make noise in the garden. The village wants to be quiet:) 13.. Surroundings the Lesse flows down the village, a 10-minute walk, through the Furfooz Natural Park. It will welcome your swimming. Phrasie's house is indeed at the entrance to the Furfooz Natural Park. This 50 HA nature reserve is a Natura 2000 site. You can find various hiking trails, embellished with various natural, geological and archaeological sites. A refreshment bar awaits you with various snacks. The panorama of the Aigilles de Chaleux, overlooking the Lesse valley, offers a vertiginous view of the river and the athletes who enjoy kayaking. The limestone rocky massif is truly spectacular.
