Settle into a cosy space in a historic home and get a good nights sleep in the large bedroom with TV, sofa and reading corner. The office next to the bathroom has a single bed for guests who don't want to share the large room. You have the 1st floor to yourself so you can unwind in the roll top bath before settling in for a good rest. A mini Fridge and Kettle are provided for Tea/Coffee. My dogs and I will give you a friendly welcome but will leave you to unwind in your own space upstairs. The space The daybed in the office can sleep guests if you don't wish to share the large bedroom but please be aware access to the bathroom is through the office. Guest access House access is through a shared front door, through the living and dining room and up the stairs. You have the three rooms on the first floor to yourselves as my private bedroom and bathroom are on the 2nd floor. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen if you like, but most people tend to eat out. During your stay I will be around either downstairs in the living room or in my bedroom which has its own bathroom so I wont need to disturb you, but we may cross on the landing! I'm always happy to answer any questions you may have, but mostly I find people keep to themselves in our separate spaces. Other things to note "The Wateringbury" pub just a 30 second walk away serves a great selection for lunch and dinner, I highly recommend the lamb shank shepherds pie! The Café and Vintage Centre "Where Memories Meet" next door is also highly recommended from 10.30am for brunch and lunch, booking is recommended. The cake is also incredible! There is a horsebox bakery by the river Friday - Sunday, we really love incredible tasting cake in this village! "The Ramblers Rest" serves breakfast down by the river and there are 2 other pubs and a Chinese take away in the village. We are a 5 minute drive to Kings Hill which has a large Asda, small Waitrose, Costa, Curry house, fish and chip shop, pub etc.
