On Tuesdays, there is the weekly market where you can buy fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese and many other local products. There are also supermarkets that are open from Monday to Sunday from 8 am to 8 pm.Cecina is situated near the most important road, rail or sea connections. From here you can easily reach Florence (100 km), the island of Elba (40 km), Siena (70 km), Pisa (50 km), Lucca (60 km), Volterra (30 km), San Gimignano (50 km). Bolgheri, which is only 10 km away, is well-known for its avenue of cypress trees and for producing some of the most important, world-famous wines, Sassicaia and Ornellaia. To access the parking area of the property, you have to pass through an electric gate, for which you will receive a remote control. Thus, you do not have to get out of the car; the gate then closes again automatically.
