Hesjuvellir farm above Akureyri, spectacular view

Cosy apartment in a small farm just above Akureyri. Spectacular view in all directions, excellent for nature lovers. Enjoy the soft sound of stream nearby and singing birds. Icelandic horses, cats and dogs are on the farm and hens walking freely. Good place for northern lights during winter. Close to Akureyri skiing resort. The space Hesjuvellir is located up in mountain above Akureyri. The view is awesome. 360° of exceptional landscape. During summer we often sea the sun "falling down" into the see at the end of the Eyjafjörður. At nights when we have clear sky during autumn and winter we enjoy looking at the stars and sometimes also the northern lights, free from the light-pollution from the town. It takes about 7 minutes to drive to the local skiing resort and when we have plenty of snow it is possible to slide down the mountain all the way to the farm. Guest access You have access to private apartment and access to outdoor area at the farm. If you like you can take a walk to look at the horses.
