Beyond The Prairie

Welcome to my airbnb located on the beautiful Camas Prairie. Whether you are traveling here to see family & friends, or coming for the first time, my house can be your resting place between adventures. The space Please note that my property is not suitable for children and no pets are allowed. My house can accommodate three people with a king four-poster bed, a vintage queen canopy bed, and a twin bed to choose from. The bathroom is setup with mustache men with different colored eyes to keep your towels separate from other guests. The living room has a full sized sofa with two reclining seats, a matching recliner/rocker and a wide leather recliner. The home is filled with photos taken around the region and a large map highlighting attractions. The neighborhood is quiet and only ¼ mile off Highway 95 with no through traffic. Beyond the Prairie you will find many fun activities…Salmon River whitewater rafting, Hells Canyon jetboating, swimming & tubing the Clearwater River, hiking in the Seven Devils and Gospel-Hump wilderness, steelhead & salmon fishing on the Salmon River, Clearwater River and Snake River, jetboat races on the Salmon and various rodeos in the area. Over the 4th of July, Border Days is held in Grangeville, Idaho with a rodeo and street sports with egg tossing. The annual Raspberry Festival is held at St. Gertrude's Monastery near Cottonwood the first weekend of August. Cottonwood also hosts the Idaho County Fair in August. Information about the area and outfitters & guides listing is in a binder in the living room under the TV. The bright yellow canola fields bloom in May/June with a few fields of blue camas being found in the spring. The dryland wheat fields are usually harvested in late summer. If you have any questions, please ask. Guest access The kitchen is stocked with pots & pans and dinnerware. Full sized refrigerator and stove plus a washer & dryer is available. Other appliances available include a dishwasher, microwave, toaster and Keurig coffee/tea maker. Keurig cups provided. The king & queen bedrooms have room darkening shades and mini blinds to allow you to choose your lighting. Other things to note No animals allowed No parties Self-checkin after 3:00pm Checkout 11:00am Slow wifi – you can do email but not much more. Bring cellular device/hot spot if you need speed. No land-line. TV with Dish network providing local news and a few movie channels. DVD player/tuner & surround sound.
