Ideal for gathering with friends or family, three houses of character, quiet, in the charming hamlet of the castle of La Girardière, a magnificent site adorned with century-old trees (14 ha of park, woods and meadows punctuated by large alleys): the Logis des Ponnes, with its beautiful large living room, the Logis de l 'ưyer and the Orangerie welcome you for a comfortable stay, surrounded by nature, close to many activities. The space The rate includes linens (beds made and towels available) and end of stay cleaning. Our three houses are classified 3 *** stars and offer a total surface area of 340 m2. They can accommodate 20 people (8 bedrooms for 2 people- including a mezzanine- and a bedroom for 4 people, 5 bathrooms and 5 toilets). We allow parties and evenings between residents, i.e. without outside guests. The neighbors are very far away, so there is no risk of hindering them. Your stay starts and ends in the afternoon: you enjoy entire days on site (e.g. Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon) The Logis des Ponnes has a large dining room and a large kitchen. In summer, its garden furniture can also accommodate the whole group. If you want to cook, you have all the necessary equipment. A squeegee device, a pancake pan and a pierrade are at your disposal. Outside, you have at your disposal tables and garden chairs, a barbecue with charcoal and Chilean. On your departure, all three houses must be left in a state of normal use, furniture in its original place, beds undone and dishes clean and tidy. Beach linens for the pool and charcoal for the BBQ are not provided. In cold weather, the houses are heated by two stoves and a fireplace supplemented by electric radiators. Firewood is provided. We ask our travelers to commit to an eco-responsible attitude, when they validate the house rules, by booking. The washing machine is located in a separate room, close to the houses. Guest access A large heated swimming pool of 13.5 m x 5 m is at your disposal, from April to mid-October (it is not in service the rest of the year), between about 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. It is very pleasant to bathe from April and also in the back season because the shelter is large and retains the heat perfectly. When the sun shines, the pool can be fully discovered and you swim in a beautiful green setting. Access to the entire Domaine de La Girardière is free (park, woods, meadows). We ourselves live in the castle of La Girardière, located in the hamlet. The houses are completely independent and are not adjoining: they are distributed in the hamlet and each have a private garden without fencing. The roads are more than 500 m away and the calm is absolute. It is not uncommon to see deer, squirrels, hedgehogs, owls and many other birds depending on the season. The banks of the Yon are directly accessible on foot from the hamlet of La Girardière: they offer a pleasant walk in all seasons and in summer, they allow you to cool off in the shade of the trees, feet in the water of the river. Fishing is possible. Many other cycling and walking routes are also possible. Tennis court, children's games and basketball court in the village of Le Aprlier (2 km) Nearby: possibility of carriage rides and hikes with donkeys. Your pets, dogs and cats are welcome and we do not charge extra. Their mention in the reservation is mandatory. Please note that the area is not closed. Two dogs (labradors), two cats, two horses and chickens also live in the hamlet. Other things to note Each stay contributes to the renovation of the site: interior work, refurbishment, change of woodwork, change of windows and doors, insulation, installation of heating, etc. It also contributes to the maintenance of the beautiful park.
