You'll experience tall ceilings inside, and expansive outdoor living space outside (check out that deck!!) for fresh air by day and stargazing at night. All this makes our little jewel feel like grand and cozy living with some exceptional peace and quiet. Speaking of stars, this tiny cottage was constructed in 2017 by Tiny Heirloom on an episode of DIY/HGTV's Tiny Luxury. Being a tiny house, it is ideally suited for 2 guests, but can handle up to 4 sleepers if loft sleeping is your thing! (Please, no kids under 12). And, don't think you'll be brushing your teeth from the toilet. The full-sized bathroom has room for a dance if you want. Just kidding there, but it's roomy and well-equipped. Only some of the attention to detail you find to help you lux-adventurers settle in quickly and feel completely comfortable. While packing light is recommended, there's a rollaway rack to store items out of the way and a small valet-style closet. Now, let's talk about the property and area.This is a rural area with rugged acreage. Thus, very serene. Over morning coffee on the deck, you'll see beautiful birds and wildlife, and the dark skies at night make clear-night stargazing spectacular. You may even be "off the grid," as cell coverage is limited inside the gate with a number of the carriers. There is, however, outstanding internet speeds, so internet calling and texting is available, if the peace and quiet becomes too much. You have private, personal access to the tiny house, with the exception of the rooftop. (No one allowed up-top.) Access to the property is limited to the road, the immediate area surrounding the tiny and down to the creek. The tiny house is on my home property, however your privacy and experience is my highest priority. So, I do not usually "pop in" on arrival. But if you have any special requests or need anything at all, please contact me through AirBnb's portal, or text me. "Lucky Stars" tiny house is central to all things Hill Country. Located on a branch of the Texas Wine Trail, you'll have quick access to award-winning wineries, breweries and distilleries. Main St. Boerne, TX is just 10 minutes away, and hosts a number of art galleries, festivals and community events. The downtown shopping, dining and walkability is superb there. Boerne's wonderful walking trail, know as the Hill Country Mile, winds past a number of local hot spots. Boerne City Lake is west of I-10 and is open to the public for a fee. Within 30 minutes is Comfort, Fredericksburg, Bandera, Blanco and San Antonio. New Braunfels is just an hour away. A number of county and state parks are also nearby. Don't miss Joshua Creek Park, Cibolo Nature Center, Sisterdale, Patrick Heath Library and River Road in downtown Boerne. Being in a rural setting, there is no public transportation, so a private vehicle is your only option. On the property, there is adequate space for 2 cars at the tiny house. The property is gated from the street. (Please Read) PACKING LIGHT is highly recommended, but there is space to stow luggage and gear beneath the bedroom platform, and a small closet and drawer space is available in the bathroom. Use your auto to store Hill Country treasures and finds. (See photos of storage areas.) If your height exceeds 6'0" or so, the bathroom ceiling may feel low. Night-lighting is provided for your safety while navigating the stairs off the platform bed and loft area. No ice chests allowed inside the tiny house. Please use the deck or your car if you bring a cooler. Crime is considered low here and the property is gated. For your safety, do not attempt to approach wild animals. "Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints." A number of fossils and other interesting history characterizes the Hill Country and this property. Please enjoy your explorations, but leave nature and artifacts as you see them. This is the Hill Country and this property is a Certified Wild Life Habitat. please observe warning signs. From time to time, you may encounter "critters" on the property such as scorpions, centipedes, tarantulas and spiders, and very rarely, a snake. Most all of them have a much worse reputation than they deserve. Please remember that we are visitors to their habitat. If you encounter "wild things" that make you uncomfortable, the best response is to put your steps in reverse.
