The expansive private dock is the perfect place to swim and lounge by by the water. Wake up to loons calling, read in the sunroom and end your days with sunset views from the big deck overlooking the water. The space This beautiful, and recently updated, family retreat is the quintessential Canadian "Muskoka" cottage getaway. The expansive, elevated deck, complete with Muskoka chairs and a barbecue, offers stunning sunset views and is the perfect spot for gathering with loved ones on warm summer mornings and evenings. Enjoy the brand-new, oversized private dock—perfect for swimming, docking a boat, or letting the kids splash around in the shallow, sandy water area. Whether you’re soaking up the sun, swimming, or just relaxing by the water, this dock is an ideal spot for a day of outdoor fun. The bright sunroom/sitting room, with its cozy seating and small desk, is a tranquil reading nook where you can unwind. The open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area has incredible views and lets in natural light thanks to a large waterfront-facing window. The cottage has undergone significant upgrades over the last year, including n updated kitchen with quartz countertops, a new stove and brand-new windows throughout. Additional updates include extra seating both inside and out, as well as an outdoor dining area, perfect for al fresco meals. For those who want to stay connected, we’ve equipped the cottage with Starlink WiFi. However, we won’t blame you if you choose to disconnect and enjoy the peaceful surroundings instead! As the evening sets in, gather around the beautiful custom pyramid fire pit—ideal for cozy campfires and roasting s’mores under the stars. With four bedrooms (three queens and one double), this cottage comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests. Each bedroom is equipped with a fan for those warm nights, and we also offer a bed rail and a pack-and-play upon request. This is also a perfect spot for fishing enthusiasts, with great fishing right in the area. To make your stay even more enjoyable, we provide a pedal-boat and paddle boards for use on the water. For entertainment, the cottage is stocked with a variety of books, board games, and movies to enjoy on the Blu-ray/DVD player. Please note, guests are asked to bring their own towels and linens, although mattress protectors, comforters, and pillows are provided. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property. This includes parking for up to four vehicles. You will have access to your own dock, deck, and fire pit, the entire cottage and deck. Please be prepared to bring firewood if you wish to have a fire, as well as your own linens and towels. Comforters, pillows and mattress protectors are provided. Other things to note Please note that this is a cottage. We do our absolute best to keep everything in working order. Because of the remote nature of the setting, it is possible that if power goes out or the water system fails, or if something breaks, it may take days to fix. The property is waterfront with a deck that cannot be secured, so please be aware of this if bringing young children. There are natural stone and wood steps down to the dock, for those who are less mobile, it may be difficult to access the dock and water, but the cottage itself is accessible with a ramp directly from the driveway.
