We welcome locals needing stop gap accommodation and visitors. If you need somewhere comfortable to stay during building work or whilst you’re between houses please get in touch to arrange a viewing and agree a discount for a longer stay. 6 Nidd View offers the perfect mix of peaceful location, cosy charm and character with the comfort and convenience of home including fibre broadband & wifi. There's an annexe with second shower and a separate utility room/office if you stay a month or more. The space The cottage is set in a quiet spot just off the main street of the village, with free on-street parking. There is a lovely south-facing sun terrace at the front, looking out over the gardens to the fields beyond. The front door opens into an open-plan living space, with a sitting area centred on the traditional fireplace, then on to a modern dining kitchen with plenty of room for preparing and eating family meals, or for entertaining guests during your stay. Upstairs are two bedrooms, with one double bed and two small single beds in total, both rooms have fabulous country views and come with good quality bedlinen and towels. The house bathroom has a corner shower. There's a utility room over the yard to the rear of the property with a 12kg washing machine and separate 10kg tumble dryer as well as a toilet and shower. Some guests have also used this space as a home office as the wifi is accessible here. For an escape to the country, a peaceful Yorkshire holiday, or a short-term let for business or during a house move/renovation, 6 Nidd View has everything that you need. Other things to note If you're having building work done we know that schedules can change so we will do all we can to accommodate you and your family. We will be as flexible as possible. Whilst we welcome well behaved dogs and cats to the cottage, they are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture downstairs, please also observe the signage around the village relating to private land and use only marked public footpaths when out walking. Parking is limited to cars and SUVs on the lane. No commercial vehicles. If you have a large car there is another parking space further down the lane towards Beam Ends as well as the one directly outside the cottage. Please note that the second bathroom mentioned in the listing is not within the cottage itself but over the yard in the utility room.
