Fennel House. Charming house in Oakham town centre

The townhouse is located on a quiet residential one way street. Oakham has stunning historical architecture, i.e a castle, quaint independent shops, pubs and restaurants are moments from the door. A short walk from the railway station. It is ideal for couples or families. A short drive is Rutland Water and is the largest man made lake in Europe 26 miles circumference and hosts many outdoor pursuits such as walking, cycling and bird watching. The space Living and Eating There is a separate dining room that seats six and a lounge with a smart TV and Wifi router. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a washing machine located in the bedroom cupboard. Sleeping There are two large bedrooms upstairs both containing king size beds. Bedroom one has a wardrobe and chest of draws and also includes a TV. Bedroom two contains wardrobes with shelves. Also included is a vanity sink with overhead mirror. (Please note, it is a mid century house with steep stairs) Garden There is a secure private garden to the rear. Access can also be made via a purple door to the left of the property which is a shared right of way. Parking There is parking on Finkey and Northgate street. For extra cars, there are also car parks within walking distance to the property. Church Street Car park LE15 6XT or Westgate long stay car park, 41 ST Annes Close LE15 6AZ House Entry and arrival and departure The house has an outside key safe entry system to the right of the window cill to make it simple for your arrival. You will be given a code before you arrive and you may let yourself in to the house at the designated arrival time. If you would like to arrive early we can be flexible as long as there are no back to back guests. Just let us know and we will try to work with your schedule and with our cleaning service. Please lock the doors and turn off all electric when you depart. Misc Please respect neighbours. No parties or events. Only registered guests. No smoking. No pets. No shoes. No Bikes in the house. Please use coasters for drinks. Please use the clothes horse to dry wet towels. It is in the cupboard under the stairs. Other things to note Tea and Coffee is provided. There are 3 types of cereal available, organic porridge, muesli and special-k. There is coffee mate available, as milk is not provided. There is a clothes horse under the stairs cupboard to dry towels. Please use coasters for drinks. Please note, it is an old house and the stairs are steep so be careful and use the hand rail. Strictly no bikes in the house.
