New Forest Retreat; Hot tub & Direct Forest access

𝑭𝒐𝒓 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒚 𝑨𝒊𝒓𝑩𝒏𝑩 𝑹𝒆𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒔 approximately𝟏𝟖.𝟔% 𝑶𝒇 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑻𝒐𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝑷𝒂𝒊𝒅 A Romantic New Forest Escape with hot tub Nestled in a quiet lane within the New Forest National Park the Bothy is a beautifully bijou and charming hideaway perfect for couples seeking a peaceful, romantic retreat Surrounded by nature's tranquillity, it's the ideal spot to unwind, yet close enough for easy day trips to local beaches, Salisbury, and Southampton. The space Step inside the Bothy and you will discover a charming open plan space with a delightful wood burner, a well equipped kitchen and cosy dining area. The oak staircase leads to the bedroom with a double bed, luxurious white bedding and throws and is perfect for long lie ins, breakfast in bed and gazing at the stars through the roof window. The kitchen has everything you need to rustle up romantic feasts for 2 including an electric hob and full size oven, a full size fridge, microwave, Smeg kettle and a coffee maker. There's plenty of worktop space to prepare your meals. The bathroom adjoins the bedroom and is perfectly equipped for pampering with a roll top bath big enough for 2 with a flexible handheld shower attachment, fluffy white towels and bath robes. Step outside onto the East facing paved patio area and you will discover a pretty, well kept garden with a table and chairs perfect for 2 to sit outside for breakfast in the sun which rises over this area first thing. You will also find the hot tub always set at the perfect temperature and ready for use with lights to make the experience even more beautiful, ideally situated to be completely private and with a wide view of the stars above. There is off road parking directly in front of the Bothy big enough for one or two cars. The Northern part New Forest here is wilder and less populated than the southern National Park areas. You will see deer, ponies, donkeys and cattle and in autumn, pigs, wandering past the Bothy. I recommend walking from The Bothy at both dawn and dusk – you'll get drenched in Britain's best birdsong from the early morning dawn chorus to the summer evening sounds of the Dartford Warblers, skylarks and Nightjars. Water lovers will want to head to the New Forest Aqua Park, ( SP6 2EY )10 minutes away and Mudeford Quay ( BH23 4AB )- 30 minutes where you can hire kayaks and paddle boards There are several good pubs within walking distance, head to Hockeys farm shop ( SP6 2PW ) or the Potting shed (SP6 2QB )for coffee, cake and light lunches. If you want the coast for a day, drive to Mudeford or Avon beach, both 25 minutes to the south. Guest access When you book the Bothy you have exclusive access to the cottage, parking spaces , garden and the Hot tub. Other things to note I recommend you take out holiday insurance in the event that you are unable to stay due to illness or other issues as this is my livelihood and sole income. There is no stand up shower in the Bothy, the roll top bath has a hand held shower, the ceiling height in the bathroom does not allow us to put in a full size shower. Please note the following with regard to children and extra guests; Space Constraints, Hot Tub & Safety Disclosures: Strict Capacity: This is a compact, one-bedroom cottage designed strictly for a maximum of 2 adults. There is no physical floor space or extra bedding available for travel cots, cribs, or additional guests of any age. Free-Roaming Livestock: Because we are in the heart of the New Forest, large wild ponies, cattle, and pigs roam completely free outside, these large animals regularly walk right past the property and will get into the garden if a gate is left open. a large cow with a young calf is wonderful to watch from a distance but very unsafe at close quarters. .Hot Tub Restriction: The property features an outdoor hot tub. For strict health, safety, and insurance compliance, use of the hot tub is restricted to adults (18+) only. Stairs: Due to the wall finishes, it is structurally impossible to fit safety gates or barriers without causing damage. Woodburner: The living area features an active wood-burning stove. Please note there is no fire guard or safety screen around it, and it becomes extremely hot during use. No Child Amenities: The cottage is an adult-focused space and is entirely un-childproofed. We do not provide a cot, high chair, or any infant equipment.
