Our home is just 30 minutes from PDX & 20 minutes to most places in Vancouver, WA., You will enjoy a large private living space, full bathroom, a large kitchenette & bedroom. You will also have your own private patio area to hang out and enjoy our peaceful setting. Our hideaway in the woods offers 5 acres of personal woods that is home to a peaceful 1/4 mile hike or you can also walk our 1/2 mile paved private road (it offers some fun hills). The space This is a daylight basement that will pretty much be yours to enjoy. We will only head down the stairs to grab pellets or other stored items, but always ask first. Enjoy a nice covered patio area. With our mild winters in SW Washington, it's a great place to BBQ year round. A hot pad, toaster oven, crock pot, mini fridge, chest freezer and air fryer/baker give you plenty of options for cooking at home. There is plenty of room to set up your work-at-home spot, either in the bedroom or the living area. All the rooms are large, including a walk-in closet in the bedroom. Guest access We will allow the use of our laundry upstairs, but other than that you should have just about everything you need downstairs. If not, just ask. If we have it, we will share. Parking is easy, with a paver walk way to your entry. You will have your own private code to enter your home. We are at the end of a 1/2 mile private road (please 20 mph or less). Other things to note Quiet time is after 10 p.m. and until 6-6:30 a.m. We also have a few other friends that keep us company from our woods. Along with deer, bunnies and raccoons, we also have morning music from our feathered friends and an evening howl or two from the coyotes. Our spotted dalmatian, Danica, might greet you with a bark or two, but once she gets to know you -she calms down. We try to introduce her to our guest first.
