Hiking hostel "Im Grünen" - Haus

Welcome to the "hiking & pilgrimage hostel in the countryside" in the half-timbered house. We offer you a quaint & cozy place for 1... nights for a small cost. Our hostel sleeps 5 people & has eco status with shower & biotoillette. The large garden, the play area for kids & the balcony can be used for all guests. Whether you want to enjoy an active vacation (hiking, cycling, etc.) or want to enjoy culture & nature, our hostel is centrally located between 100 highlights. The space Our hostel is an old half-timbered house with exposed beams, decorated in rustic vintage & country style. A guest house on two levels awaits you: Upstairs is: > Fully equipped kitchen-living room ( 2 hotplates, mini oven, kettle, fridge) with fireplace for self-catering. (Coffee, tea & fruits of the garden are given for free) > Bedroom 1 (triple room upstairs) & bedroom 2 (2-bed room with bunk bed on the ground floor with separate access from the outside) Please bring a sleeping bag or book the bedding package for €5 per person. > Eco bath on the ground floor: Bioklo (dry toilet), shower oven with shower tub, hand towel & soap, clothes rack in the bathroom or leash in the garden (Please bring shower towels, unless you have ordered the laundry package!) > Free Wi-Fi > Balcony, kids play area, large garden > Washing line available in the garden, usable > High chair & baby bed (travel cot) available on request > Children's toys, boardgames, magazines available Guest access Our garden offers a not TÜV-certified play area with sandbox, playhouse, treehouse, slide & swings. (The unsecured pond is a source of danger for small, unattended children - so we ask all parents to comply with their duty of supervision!) In addition, our garden has various seating areas that invite you to linger. Here, everyone will find their small individual oasis of peace, whether at the small pond, in the beach chair in the finest sand, on the grill grate with fire bowl, at the herb spiral at the water feature, in the natural garden under old trees or in the stone circle for meditation. If the sun is not shining, you can still enjoy the fresh Harz air in the gazebo. Our large garden is an abundantly laid table with seasonally varying herbs, vegetables & fruits to which every guest can freely use! Other things to note Since we are a health resort, a tourist tax is charged per day which is not included in the price. The tourist tax must be paid in cash on the day of arrival and is calculated as follows: > Adults: 2,50€ per day > Children from 6 - 12 years: 1,25€ per day With the Kur-Ticket you can use all buses in the area during your stay "free"! Absolute " SMOKE BAN " throughout the house!!! Only smoke outside and dispose of the cigarette residues in the provided containers. We take a key deposit of: 10,00€ Room volume must be maintained in the outdoor area from 22:00, to the delight of the neighbours.
