The Old Stables is a stylish conversion situated in Gosfield The conversion of the stables was completed in 2024 and is purpose built guest accommodation We are a mile from Gosfield Hall Wedding Venue & perfectly situated to explore beautiful North Essex and Suffolk The property is decorated in a boutique style and is a great place for couples, families or a small group of friends As well as separate bedroom, kitchen, dining area and living space there is a comfy double sofa bed. The space The Old Stables is situated in the landscaped gardens of Russells Corner. This is a self contained private property which allows the guests to have complete privacy as required. Guests requiring extra space can book both properties through Airbnb. There is parking for 3 vehicles The property is perfectly situated to explore the local towns on Halstead, Braintree, Colchester, Chelmsford, Cambridge, Saffron Walden and London is 40 miles away. There is beautiful countryside surrounding the property and excellent walks literally out of the garden gate! The beautiful wedding venues of Gosfield Hall and Hedingham Castle are within 5 minutes. The property is decorated by an interior designer in a boutique style and has a private patio for outdoor dining overlooking gorgeous countryside views. The entire property is approx 50m2. The modern high gloss kitchen has an electric oven, hob, fridge, washing machine and extractor fan. There is also a large breakfast bar with seating for 4 and a bean to cup De Longhi Coffee Machine with milk frother. The kitchen / Sitting room is open plans which creates a great entertaining space and is very Sociable. There are French doors leading out of the sitting room into a private patio are where there is a further dining space when the weather allows The bathroom is spacious with a good size power shower, large heated towel rail and bathroom cabinet. Bathroom products are provided. The bedroom is spacious and has a king size bed with comfortable pillows as well as high thread count linens. There is a good size wardrobe for clothes storage as well as a chest of drawers below a vanity table. The bedroom has both blinds and curtains which create a cosey feel in the evening and also let in the sun during the daytime. Finally, We allow our guests access to a private gym which hosts a peloton bike and a peloton treadmill as well as dumbbells, squat rack and Olympic bars and plates. Please note that use of the gym is entirely at the risk of the guest and no liability for personal injury caused whilst using our gym is accepted by us as hosts Guest access Guests have access to the entirety of The Old Stables as well as the patio area adjoining the conversion. There are great views over the main garden and surrounding countryside. There is off road parking on a large gravel driveway that can park multiple vehicles. Other things to note We have fibre WiFi access in the Old Stables and a Smart TV. We are able to make recommendations for days out and great eateries in the immediate area and loads more further afield. The WiFi strength is excellent and fibre so working from home is absolutely fine with excellent speed There is full access to the on site gym which is well equipped and has a peloton running machine - peloton bike and many free weights
