The town is on the shores of the Lac de la Forêt d'Orient. We are 20 minutes from Troyes, these factory outlets and the wonderful medieval city center. Car or bike from Troyes. Bike rental possible. Guest access Beaches, golf, hiking, horseback riding, canoeing, pedal boats, Troyes tour, sailing, animal park... etc. Other things to note The chalet is located in the Forêt d'Orient Nature Park. It is surrounded by shrubs, trees, grasses and a multitude of small animals with hair, feathers and insects with long legs or wings. It's like the countryside. The singing rooster should, on the occasion of the end-of-year holidays and a bottle of wine, shut up permanently. My cats hunt mice, and the cleaning crew and I chase spiders.  Nevertheless, you might cross paths with one of these little creatures. They are discreet, and only their webs betray their presence. A good splash of glyphosate would definitely solve the problem, but... no, it's against my convictions. Let's not forget that, ultimately, we are on their territories.
