Charming Garden House Studio

Welcome to our new garden house studio, an accomodation for 2 during the warm weather months when heating is not required. Raw wooden beams meet vintage furniture and curtains, stained glass windows, plus there's a roomy bathroom with rain shower head, fully equipped eat-in kitchen with coffee, tea, homemade jam, spices, vinegar, oil, etc. The studio is opposite the main house which also has a separate FeWo and all is set in a 6,000 sq. m. woodland garden open for your use. The space The studio has its own outside dining area with sun umbrella, as well as two Adirondack chairs for your use. Guests can also lounge on the lawn or sit under the rose arbor. There is a barbecue, as well as two basic bicyles, but these are for all guests on the premises, and so may not always be available. We offer a three-course dinner – to be ordered in advance – for 30€ per person, including a welcome drink. Wine is not included, but guests can bring their own, or we can offer wine by the glass (200 ml) at 5€ per glass. The dinner can be served family style - with us - or separately in or outdoors at the studio. Guest access The Garden House has its own entrance and is set on the left side of our garden, all of which is open to our guests. There is a second FeWo in the main red house on the property, also listed with airbnb, so you may see other guests from time to time, but the space is large enough to comfortably accomodate us all. Other things to note Guests should shop prior to arriving in Klein Behnitz, as the closest possibility is in Nauen, 19 km away. Klein Behnitz lies in a triangle between Brandenburg, Ribbeck and Nauen. Nearby places of interest include the agricultural landmark Landgut Stober in Groß Behnitz (5 km), Schloss Ribbeck (12 km) and Schloss Paretz (20 km), which can be reached by bicycle over country roads or bicycle paths. The Trappen or large buzzard colony is a further attraction in Havelland (20 km) and clear lakes between Klein Behnitz and Brandenburg offer swimming and boating activities. Both Potsdam and Brandenburg an der Havel are 30 km away, Brandenburg and Berlin are a bit more than an hour’s drive or 40-minute train ride away. However please note: as of summer 2025, there will be no train service between Nauen and Berlin for an undetermined period due to track work. The sauna, which is located in your bathroom, can be used by arrangement. Sauna sessions, after preheating, cost 20€ per one hour session including towels, for up to 2 persons, and 25€ for 90 minutes.
