Self-Catering Cottage 1 - Oak, is on ground floor level sleeping 2 to 3 adults (in a double bed and single bed) or 2 adults and 2 children (in a double bed, single bed and a pull-out bed for small children under the age of 12. The host will make-up the optional child's pull-out bed if needed. The space Bedroom one has a double bed and an optional pull-out bed (for a child under the age of 12) and bedroom two has a single bed for an adult or child. The lounge area has a two-seater sofa, breakfast bar and four bar stools and TV. The kitchen area is fully equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, iron and cooking utensils. The bathroom has a cubicle shower, LED mirror, toilet, sink and heated towel rail. Linen and towels are provided. Peacocks roam freely and the village has a lovely friendly atmosphere. Tutbury has a mini mart, post office, chemist all on the high street within easy walking distance. It is most famous for its Castle (Tutbury Castle) which provides lots of events including wedding venues throughout the year. The Norman Church and Museum are popular spots to visit including a wide range of pubs, restaurants, tea, cafe, bistro style coffee shops. There is also Boutique, craft, antique and gifts shops, not forgetting the award-winning treatment rooms for those special pamper days.
