Romantic Villa with fire place & sauna on the lake

Imagine staying at a romantic Nature Resort in a dreamy Swedish village surrounded by fantastic & peaceful nature while spending a few days with your loved one(s) in our romantic villa with full privacy. Our home is a unique historic building with panoramic views of the nearby lake. Pamper us in our art and music-inspired living room with 2 fireplaces. Our wood-fired outdoor sauna & our viewing platform are memorable highlights for many guests. The space The villa is part of our romantic nature resort, where couples with friends and families are invited to relax more for pleasure, deepen their relationship and create magical moments. The 18th-century building has over 150 m2 and extends over 2 floors. This family home is an open-plan with only a few doors, in addition to the 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. From all the side windows of the lake, you have a panoramic view of the breathtaking garden and lake. You'll find a piano & a wide range of musical instruments as well as a sound system that you can turn up as loud as you like. We also have fun board and card games available for you. There are cozy fairy lights & small lights around the house to create a warm and soft atmosphere. On the top floor, we have 2 spacious bedrooms available with a double bed in each of them (plus an extra single bed and many extra mattresses) and an extra toilet with sink. In the hall, we also set up a cozy hammock under the skylights with a reading lamp. This is my favorite place with a book and a cup of tea. On the ground floor, we have a master bedroom with fireplace and a super comfortable double bed as well as a bathroom with toilet and shower. The shower is inside the bathtub. We can highly recommend jumping in the lake after a morning walk through the woods. On the ground floor, you will also find our very huge living room space that is full of inspiration and creativity. By the way, you can turn the dining table into a ping-pong table ;) There are cozy seating areas around and a fireplace in the center. The kitchen is part of this room and invites many people to cook and eat together (easily up to 10 people). There is a separate ground floor to the villa, but it has its own entrance, kitchen and bathroom. Sometimes either Fredrik & Janie or their volunteers live downstairs. You will most likely not come into contact with them if you are not outdoors in the garden or if you need to use the washing machine, which is also located downstairs in a separate room. You have fast Wi-Fi available throughout your stay, which is absolutely sufficient and reliable for online conferences. You have shared access to our beautiful and spacious garden that runs along the water. From our jetty you can jump or climb into the lake (even in winter), which we highly recommend after being in our wood-fired outdoor sauna that heats up to 90°. You can reserve the sauna for 3-hour periods so that you have full privacy when you use it. Have you ever bathed in ice? It's a unique experience that you don't want to miss during the winter months. We're happy to give you our best tips and tricks to make the most of an ice bath. During the warmer seasons, you are welcome to rent our wooden rowboat, 2 x SUP, a kayak or our popular raft to explore the lake and the nearby islands. We also have 2 bicycles to rent that are perfect for cycling along our forest roads. Another highlight of our resort is our newly created heart-shaped labyrinth, which is perfect for private love ceremonies or sacred union rituals. (Check out our offers) As well as our star-shaped viewing platform, which is perfect for watching wildlife or mediation. For those of you who like to cook over an open fire, you are welcome to use our outdoor kitchen with wood as seating and a small selection of kitchen utensils. If you want more relaxation, you can hire one of our wonderful massage therapists in the village who will gladly come to Vilan for a full-body massage (from SEK 600). Your hosts Janie & Fredrik are both passionate relationship coaches and love bringing couples closer together. You are welcome to book a private session with them during your stay or check out their online offers/courses. Fredrik loves music and is happy to welcome his guests with a song on request. Are you ready for more fun and relaxation during your vacation? Guest access The easiest way to get to our Romantic Nature Resort is by car. You are welcome to park your car for free just outside Vilan (our red Spa Villa - also on Airbnb). The alternative way to get from Stockholm is to take an SJ train to Hedemora and then a bus (which only runs twice a day Mon-Fri) or hire a taxi. We offer pick-up or drop-off from Hedemora train station for 50 Euro (for 2 people). Hedemora train station is about 25 minutes from Stjärnsund. We have a small kiosk 200 m away from Romantic Nature Resort where you can buy the most important things (opening hours during the winter are 10 am - 6 pm and a little longer during the summer). They also offer a small selection of takeaway food. In the summer, a small café and restaurant is open in Stjärnsund, but otherwise the nearest restaurants are in Långshyttan (pretty good Pizza), Hedemora (Thai, Pizza etc.) or Garpenberg Castle (super good & nice food). For more food shopping opportunities, you can go to ICA in Längshyttan, which is about 15 minutes away or to Hedemora about 25 minutes away, where you will find lots of options to shop. If you have an electric car, you have access to a charging station just outside our driveway on the left side. If you prefer to use the charging outlets from Vilan, there is an additional cost of SEK 200 for full charging. Other things to note When you rent our villa, you must bring your own sheets, towels and sauna bathrobes. You need a double mattress cover (180 cm x 200 cm), 2 regular duvets and 2 regular pillowcases. If you want to rent sheets and towels, there is an additional cost of SEK 300 (for 2 people) or SEK 200 for one person. At the end of your stay, we kindly ask you to clean the villa and leave it behind you just as welcoming and clean as you found it for the next guests. We provide all the cleaning tools and products that are in the corridor. If you do not want to clean, a cleaning fee of SEK 800 will be added. Here is a list of things that will make your stay even more special: - bring candles (dining table and heat candles) - bring massage oil (or buy coconut oil at the kiosk) - bring everything you need for the sauna (towels, shoes, clothes) - bring slippers for people with extra cold feet (we have some simple ones available) - bring extra firewood (you get your first firewood basket for free and each extra basket costs SEK 75) - bring everything you need to explore nature fully according to the season (the lake... bring skates/skis in the winter or swimwear for the summer, bring berry pickers or good shoes to take a walk through the woods) - prepare for a walk through the heart-shaped labyrinth... it's a bit like a wedding ritual, but without the pressure & the nice clothes. Simply set an intention for your relationship and focus on one thing you want to let go of and one thing you want to call into your relationship so that more love can flow between the two of you.
