Ruby High Yurt

At 9,700ft elevation, the High Yurt is located on the top of Conrad Creek Ridge in the Ruby Mountains. The scenery and beauty of Conrad and Talbot Creek is overwhelming. Hiking in the summer starts right out the door and skiing in the winter begins as soon as you clip into your skis. Join us for an unforgettable backcountry adventure. The space Guests will take a mandatory RZR ride in to the yurt from our parking area at 7,000 feet. Alpine touring guests in the winter will meet at our lodge for orientation before being transported to the yurt via snowcat or helicopter. Bookings during the winter months are part of an alpine touring package at a different cost. Please contact us before booking to discuss details. The yurt if fully furnished to cater to our guests. It comfortably sleeps 3 people. The yurt is powered by Goal Zero solar power offering solar lights and power outlets. It yurt is well-stocked with a camp chef propane duel burner stove for cooking, and cooking and kitchen gear. A propane fireplace heats the yurt. Guest access All areas inside and outside the yurt, and acres of private property in the Ruby Mountains. Other things to note Guests are responsible for bringing their own bedding (pillows and blankets) and food. Bookings during the winter months are part of an alpine touring package. Please contact host before booking to discuss details. The Ruby High Yurt is located in a backcountry setting. The yurts are fully sanitized and cleaned prior to all guests' arrival. With the canvas-style coverings it is impossible to keep outside pests out of the yurts and bathrooms at all times, including but not limited to flies, wasps, spiders, mice. If there is an issue, we ask that guests notify us so we can fix the problem. Yurt pests such as those noted above do not warrant a refund.
