Bear Cottage, Beaulieu

Perfect self-contained 'chocolate box' thatched New Forest National Park hideaway situated in the 5-acre grounds of our family home next door to the National Motor Museum. The space Bear Cottage, formerly the coachman's home, has a ground floor shower room and galley kitchen well equipped for self-catering. The first floor is a studio bedroom with comfortable king-sized bed. On site off road parking and shared use of outside table and chairs. Tennis court and bikes are available by prior arrangement. Guest access From the National Motor Museum you can take a walk along the Mill Pond river walk to Beaulieu Village. Sample the chocolatiers, gift shops and tea rooms, and visit the award-winning Terrace restaurant at The Montagu Arms Hotel before continuing along the Solent Way to Bucklers Hard and the Maritime Museum. Exbury Gardens, Lyndhurst, Lymington and Brockenhurst are all within a 15 minutes drive. Other things to note Our very friendly horse Logan lives in the paddock at our home, and Roxy his female companion lives there too. Despite our best efforts internet connectivity cannot be guaranteed at Bear Cottage. But we will always find you some in our home next door &/or up the road in Beaulieu village
