This spacious, comfortable apartment is in a semi-rural location 9 miles south of Edinburgh centre, within reach of all areas of the city by car or bus, with free parking and with the local bus just minutes walk away. Located in native woodland on the river Esk, it has excellent walking and cycling possibilities. It is also a great location to explore Rosslyn Chapel, Penicuik House, the Pentland Hills & the Borders, and is a short stroll to the shops & restaurants of Penicuik. The space This a modern, secure and luxury space situated in a valley community in historic Penicuik, a small town just south of Edinburgh. We are located in the quiet, secluded site of a former paper mill. There are views from the balcony over the wooded river valley and the Penicuik-Dalkeith walkway is almost on the doorstep. It is a large apartment with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and with a bathtub in the ensuite bathroom. We have a large curved, UHD television in the livingroom with satellite and terrestrial stations, and fast fibre wifi is accessible throughout the apartment. There is also Netflix and other streaming apps. We have free reserved parking outside and secure bicycle storage in the outbuildings. Times for check-in and check-out are as flexible as possible, and earlier arrivals or later departures can often be accommodated. Guest access You will have the entire space to yourself. Other things to note We are 30 minutes from Edinburgh city centre by car and 50 minutes by bus, so please bear this in mind when making travel plans. The apartment is on the first floor. There is a flight of eighteen steps from ground level to ours. Also, this is a very quiet area, so we ask you to respect our neighbours and please keep noise to a minimum.
