Victorian House near Leeds & York

This is one of three rooms I have listed on Airbnb within the same house. Victorian house in lovely leafy location in historic riverside market town. Rear room with single bed plus pop-up underbed. Room overlooks rear garden with Apple Tree. The space This is one of three rooms I have listed on Airbnb within the same house, so you may encounter other people staying in any of the other 2 rooms, unless you book all 3 rooms of course. The space can be seen as a small double room or large single room. Warm, light and airy with a green garden view. There is an open wardrobe plus a small workstation and chair plus an easy chair. I also provide towels. There is a Hauck travel cot at your disposal on request too which is ideal for young children and babies. This room has a real single bed plus underbed which pulls up to the same level. The room can sleep 2 people comfortably and 3 at a push using an additional airbed. The main front bedroom may also be available (see other listing). The living room may also be available with 2 single air beds if required (see other listing). House is eclectic in style. Kitchen is available for use. One shared bathroom with electric shower. There is currently no central heating but there are electric heaters in the room and an open fire is usually lit in the dining room when I am around. Located near major cities including York, Harrogate and Leeds all within 20 minutes by car. We are the gateway to The North York Moors, The Dales and within a couple of hours from The Lake District. A1M motorway within 2-5 minutes. Airfield just up the A1. Several international airports within 1-2 hours drive. Nearest is Leeds-Bradford only 15 miles away (20 minutes drive) then Doncaster and Manchester within an hour's drive. Buses from Wetherby bus station to Leeds, Harrogate and York. Late buses run between Leeds and Wetherby and a regular train service operates between Leeds and York, Leeds and Harrogate and Harrogate and York. Wetherby is a lovely historic market town (2 markets per week) set by the River Wharfe, complete with ducks and bird life in abundance. Ducks are often see waddling through the town! Great riverside and wooded walks for both humans and ducks! Pleasant quiet and leafy neighbourhood. Plenty of pubs, cafes and good restaurants. Recommended is Filmore & Union Cafe (especially for breakfast) in the Market Place. Alternatively a good Italian restaurant is across the road from this cafe called Sant' Angelo's, which is large and often has excellent live music tribute bands and singers entertainment .. heart and soul of the town. Bus station, library with tourist information, plus Post Office and supermarkets and other shops including good butchers and bakery all within 5 minutes walk. Good brass bands pipe up on a Sunday throughout the summer usually 2pm-4pm. On-street parking. Park opposite with splendid playground. Wi-Fi connection. Bathroom has electric shower. Great Italian restaurant only 4 minutes walk plus great quality gastro café in Market Place. Fine fish & chip shops and two late opening service stations nearby only 2 minutes walk. Guest access Kitchen-Dining room and bathroom. Garden and patio access. During your stay I'm sociable as I like meeting people, but I also respect people's privacy and will leave people in peace if they so desire. Other things to note Two new mountain bicycles are available to use as part of the package. His (black) and hers (white) and a pink and white child's bike suitable for adolescents or adults.
