Dog Friendly Mediaeval Priory with Private Pool

(!) The pool can be heated on request (€150). The Priory is a beautiful 14th century building in a delightful rural village surrounded by woods. The nearest village is Thenezay, 7 kms away, where there is a great little market on Sundays, a supermarket, PO, cafe and restaurant, baker and hairdresser. We are about 45 minutes to the closest Loire Chateau, just over an hour to Puy de Fou, and surrounded by lovely mediaeval villages. Noise restriction for music in the garden due to neighbours. The space We are an ancient mediaeval fortified house with a stone spiral staircase that, in the 14th Century became a Priory. This beautiful building oozes history and was lovingly restored to a very high standard some years ago. Lovers of historical buildings will find the Priory, with its many historical features, fascinating. Due to the thickness of our ancient stone walls, access to WiFi is limited in some parts of the house. Guest access Guests are able to access the entire house, apart from the laundry (Guests have their own washing machine in the house.) Other things to note Several of the children who have stayed have commented that they adored the playroom.
