"The Field of Possibilities" Small attic cottage of 20 m2 upstairs in a Normandy farmhouse containing 2 other independent cottages. For 2 people with a maximum of one baby. Outdoor heated pool from mid-April to end of September. Covered Jacuzzi for an additional €10/person/hour all year round. Large equestrian property with many animals. 7 min from Lisieux, 20 min from Deauville and Cabourg, 35 min from Honfleur, 2 hours from Paris. The space This is a small 20 m2 attic cottage located on the first floor of a typical half-timbered farmhouse in the Pays d'Auge dating from 1809. It contains a small equipped kitchen: hot plates, microwave, kettle, coffee maker with filter provided, dishes, toaster, Dolce Gusto coffee machine. No dining table but a coffee table and a small bar. The bathroom contains a small bathtub, sink and toilet. Please note that the ceiling above the bathtub is sloped, so you should wash sitting down because there is no room to stand if you are tall. Small bedroom with double bed size 140 x 190 cm. Velux in the bedroom and living room overlooking animals and nature. Salt, pepper, garbage bags, toilet paper, sheets, towels, hair dryer provided. Presence of 2 other larger lodges in the house, visible in my other listings. One is upstairs on the same landing with a common staircase and the other on the ground floor with a separate entrance. Parking right next to the house. The staircase is a little steep, made of varnished wood and without a riser. Older people, large dogs, old dogs and young children may have trouble going up or down it. There is obviously a ramp to hold on to. You have a photo available in the ad. The vacation rental has stunning views of the Normandy countryside and the animals of the estate. Conducive to calm and relaxation in a green setting with birdsong. Guest access The heated outdoor pool and Jacuzzi are shared by guests of the 3 cottages. The pool is heated from mid-April to the end of September depending on the weather. It is heated to 27 degrees and accessible until 9 p.m. The Jacuzzi is heated to 35-37 degrees. It is not in the house but in a small building closed by an unheated veranda overlooking nature. It is accessible all year round with a surcharge: €10 per person per hour, time slot by reservation at least the day before so I can heat it. Access possible until 9 p.m. Forbidden for children under 4. A terrace is private for each cottage at the bottom of the house. Barbecue, table, chairs and parasol available. Swing and outdoor play area for children. Following abuse, access to the washing machine and dryer that are shared is possible with a surcharge of €5 per machine or drying. Other things to note Free stay for babies under 2 years sleeping in a travel cot. Possibility to have a baby bed and high chair on request. Dogs and cats are accepted for an additional €10 per animal per stay. Dogs must be kept on a leash around the houses, but the property being very large there is the possibility of letting them off elsewhere if they are well-behaved. They are not allowed to stay alone in the cottage because of untimely barking that can disturb the tenants of the other cottages. It is possible to leave them in a horse box during your travels. There is a portable fan in the cottage and air conditioning is available on request for hot weather (above 30 degrees) To respect all the occupants who have come to rest as well as the animals of the estate, parties, music and evenings are prohibited.
