Description

The Old Rectory is set in the tranquil village of Sedgeberrow. The house has 8 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and is set on an acre plot with beautiful views of the church next door. The village pub which serves Indian food is a few minutes walk away making this the perfect spot for a countryside break. Fully equipped kitchen, dining table that seats 16 and a 5-6 seat hot tub make this the perfect relaxing Cotswolds retreat. Other things to note House Rules - we will ask you to read and sign these when you check in If we could kindly ask you to treat this beautiful house as if it were your own. We want you to enjoy your stay with us but there are only a few house rules that we ask you follow. Please note that under the current Covid19 Airbnb rules there is a ban on parties at this time. *No smoking inside the house. *No glasses or food in the hot tub. *No hot dishes/drinks on the dining room table without a mat. *We no longer allow dogs to stay, they like to chew the garden games too much and aren’t good at clearing up after themselves! For those staying who booked before we changed our policy on dogs please do not let your dog go upstairs or on the furniture. We also ask that the garden is thoroughly checked and any dog mess removed to avoid additional clean up charges. Dogs are never allowed in the hot tub, however much they believe they are human! *If the bins inside the house are full, the dustbins are at the end of the drive near the outhouse, the green bin is for recycling and the black bin is for general waste. There are 3 bins in the kitchen, one for general waste, one for glass only and one for other recycling. Please can you make sure that all guests are aware of which bin to use and how to sort out their rubbish. *No fireworks are to be used at any time during your stay. *In the deeds of the house it states that no loud music should be played on a Sunday whilst church is proceeding. *Sedgeberrow is a quiet village; please respect the neighbours by not making any loud noise, especially in the garden after 10 pm. We reserve the right to ask guests to leave should the noise levels be too high after 10 pm or other house rules such as use of fireworks be broken. Where we have to ask guests to leave for not following the house rules no refund will be given for the remainder of the stay. We have never had to ask guests to leave to date and would only do so if there was a serious breach of house rules or complaints from neighbours for unreasonable and excessive noise. *We will take a full inventory when we clean the house after your stay. It would be helpful if you could make us aware of any breakages before you leave. A small charge will be made to replace any items that are broken during your stay. *Each bed is made up with fresh white linen for every guest. Please can you be careful not to leave any stains that cannot be removed, especially those using fake tan. We are very good at stain removal; however a charge will be made for any linen that has stains that can’t be removed with a 90 degree wash and a whole load of Vanish.
