Woodland Shepherds Hut situated at Coes Farm an Organic Vineyard and Orchard making Natural wines and cider, 50 acres of absolute tranquillity in amongst nature, with a bit of luxury thrown in too! We have formal gardens and ornamental ponds, a large lake, plenty of woodland, open fields, an indoor saltwater swimming pool with hot tub, a tennis court and a games room. We planted our 5 acre organic vineyard in Spring 2021 and extended the existing Orchard with cider varieties in 2023. The space Pigeon Hole is an 18ft Shepherd’s Hut with its own veranda beautifully built by local carpenter, Dicky Dean it is nestled in the heart of the woodland at Coes. Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, Coes is a 500-year-old, 50-acre farm with sheep, chickens and a vineyard planted in Spring 2021. At Coes you’ll find absolute tranquillity with a bit of luxury thrown in. There are formal gardens, an Italian Garden and ornamental ponds, an indoor pool area with hot tub and shower, tennis court, orchards, 7 acres of new vineyard and wild woodland walks, pubs, picturesque villages and towns and a number of English vineyards. Games room with table football, table tennis and snooker/pool table. Pool - Large salt water pool. Both these facilities are open daily 9am - 5pm The huts are located in the woodland so they are a short walk (3-4 mins) from the car park and facilities - we suggest bringing suitable footwear and travelling light. Guest access At Coes Farm our guests have access to all the grounds where they can walk their dog, go for a picnic or simply explore. The swimming pool, hot tub and games room are all open daily for guest use from 9.00am until 5.00pm. The tennis court is open any time, light dependent! Guests benefit from a 20% discount on our wines and ciders during their stay. Other things to note As standard we provide all our accommodation with olive oil, salt and pepper, a selection of tea and coffee, milk and eggs from our Coes free range chickens. We have a small honesty shop on site where you can purchase homemade products made from produce we grow or forage on-site, additional logs for the firepits and log burners, and our Wild Goose Vermouth. Ideally cash but we can take card payment/bank transfer on request.
