Relaxing Getaway is my private home located in Fond du Lac and I hope you are able to enjoy it during your visit. The home comfortably sleeps eight adults on four queen beds and features a chef's kitchen with all new KitchenAid appliances. The Primary Ensuite features a jacuzzi, the deck features comfortable furniture and new Weber gas grill to chill after a long day. Take a break in the media room with fresh popcorn or relax in the comfort of any bedroom, there are 6 new Samsung TVs. I have prior catering and hosting experience, so I've designed my home to be comfortable and offer amenities you may have at home. My newer home is perfect for your getaway. Several of the rooms have Sonos speakers to easily connect your smart device to and enjoy your favorite playlist or stream tunes while relaxing in the home. There are six Samsung HD TV's throughout the home with premium cable channels such as all the HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, The Movie Channel, Starz, NFL Channel, MLB Channel and over 200+ channels to choose from. The home has WiFi throughout with ultra fast internet, 1GB hardwired to support all your devices and/or gaming. THE SOUTHERN ROOM: The front room is facing the South, so I call this the Southern Room and it is perfect to catch up with your guests by the mantel in the leather club chairs, use the remote to turn on the cluster of Luminara flamless candles and Sonos speaker. #chillout :) THE CHEFS KITCHEN: The kitchen is the heart of the home and features all new KitchenAid appliances—cook your heart out or if the Wisconsin weather is nice outside, try the new Weber gas grill on the deck. The chefs kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, utensils, seasonings, oils, colander, serving dishes, cutting boards and more. A set of children's dinerware will make mealtime fun for the kids. There is a Sonos speaker in the kitchen for your tunes and the 4 person table in the dining room is cozy for your guests or there are stools available at the kitchen counter. Cook up breakfast in the morning and try all the Keurig coffee/cocoa selections before you head out for the day. They are all amazing. A drip brewer, bean grinder, milk frother and tea pot with teas are available. There are counter appliances in the cupboards like a Cuisinart toaster, Cuisinart food processor, George Foreman grill, hand mixer, Kitchenaid blender etc. Plenty of spices, salt, peppers and oils are at the ready. THE MASSIVE DECK: Right outside the dining room is a two tier deck with all new upgraded comfortable patio furniture and Luminara outdoor lanterns for awesome evening ambience. There lower deck features adirondack chairs. THE MEDIA ROOM: After dinner, head down to the media room to watch your favorite channel, game or movie. The media room also has a popcorn bar and a Samsung 65" 4K HDTV with premium cable channels such as all the HBO, Cinemax, Showtime and 200 channels to choose from. There is also a Samsung soundbar connected to the TV, a Sonos speakers if you just want background music while reading your favorite book. If you brought the kiddos, check out the wide selection of books, games and rocketship tent with string lights, LumiPets owl and Northern Lights Galaxy projector in the media room. The lower level also has a small fitness area with free weights and yoga mat. The Samsung TV can stream your favorite gym workout videos. BATHROOMS: Each bathroom has plenty of plush towels and high end Aveda products—this is your vacation, so indulge yourself :) BEDROOMS: The lower level offers a second master bedroom with a new ensuite, Samsung TV, closet, hangers, dresser, luggage rack, Sonos speaker, large desk and a sleeper sofa. The second floor has three bedrooms: two guest bedrooms that share the guest bathroom and the Primary with ensuite. The Primary bathroom features a jacuzzi and shower. The Primary bedroom has a Queen Tempurpedic bed, Pottery Barn duvet, Bose alarm clock, Sonos speaker and a 55” Samsung Smart 4K HD TV. Every bedroom upstairs has it's own Samsung TV, new queen bed, closet, hangers, bed linens, Bose alarm clock, luggage rack and dresser. LIVING ROOM: The living room is right off the kitchen and has a 55" Samsung 4K TV with a Samsung sound bar and subwoofer. There’s another Sonos speaker in the living room. Every TV offers 200+ cable channels with premium movie channels such as HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, Starz, The Movie Channel, NFL Channel, MLB Channel so you can catch up on your events while you're here. THE QUIET LOCATION: My home is located in a very quiet neighborhood, but it is just minutes from the drug store, grocery store and restaurants. It's a short 20 or so minute highway drive to EAA, so you're not far from anything. Catch a Wisconsin Herd basketball game at the Oshkosh Arena, it’s an easy 26 minute drive. Road America in Elkhart Lake is a 30 minute drive. Lambeau field in TitleTown is a 60 minute drive. We are centrally an hour drive between Green Bay, Madison and Milwaukee. If you want to downhill ski, Little Switzerland ski hill is an easy 30 minute drive. Sunburst ski/tubing hill is also a 30 minute drive. Local stores like Target, Walmart, Menards and the Fond du Lac Sky-port are a quick 10 minute drive. The Green Bay Packers are hosting the NFL Draft in 2025 and my home is an hour drive from Lambeau field. Uber and Lift rideshare services are available in Fond du Lac, just download their apps. COVID cleaning: I am spending hours cleaning and sanitizing my home so it ready and fresh for your arrival. If you have any special requests, feel free to reach out to me. Thank you for checking out my home! Guests can access everything in the home, there are a few items that I have locked for personal property. The garage is locked and unavailable, I have personal items in the garage. The owners closest in the master suite will be locked as-well-as the utility room in the lower level. One other thing to note in the living room, the fire place and China cabinet are locked for safety and personal items. I am available during your stay and will provide my cell number and email. My neighborhood is very quiet, but it is very close to the grocery store and Walgreens. So if you forgot something, no problem it's about a 2 minute drive. One of my favorite restaurants is Sweet and Salty Pig, located just a few minutes from the house. But, if you want a unique icecream drive-in experience, you gotta check out Gillie's Frozen Custard on Main Street. It was built in 1949 and is still in the same family. The turtle sundae is to die for! 🍨 I will provide a personalized guidebook that will have all of my suggestions and ways to get around Fond du Lac.
