The Stables

The Stables is a self contained, private accommodation on a 22 acre farm with alpacas, horses, pygmy goats, donkeys, chickens and peacocks situated right beside the Essex Way. It has all the modern comforts such as WiFi, a Smart TV, jacuzzi bath. and outdoor hottub. It is positioned 5 minutes from an A12 link, 10 minutes from Colchester town and less than an hour from London. The space The Stables has its own private courtyard. There are 2 footpaths that run through the surrounding 22acre farm and guests are welcome to walk around and meet the animals. Hot Tub Use: To help manage rising energy costs and support eco-conscious practices, the hot tub is available upon request and will be switched off when not in use. If you’d like to use it during your stay, please let us know, and we’ll ensure it is ready for you. Kindly note that the hot tub is offered as an extra and comes with an additional charge of £50/night. Other things to note Our check in time is usually 4pm as we give ourselves a larger window to rectify any hot tub or property issues from the previous guests. We do try our hardest to have the lodges ready for 2/2:30pm so please keep an eye on your AirBnB messages on check in day as you will be notified as soon as the property is ready with all your information needed to gain access. Our check out time is 10am unless otherwise arranged.
