Bluebird Cottage on Clearwater Lake is our favorite place we are so excited to share it with you! We love our lake home for the endless hours of waterfront fun, slow pace and majestic sunsets. We hope you love it too. Our lakeside cottage is available for year round rental. The main house has 3 bedrooms + 1 bathroom. First two bedrooms have queen beds and the third bedroom has two twin beds with twin trundle pull outs. The kitchen is stocked with basic spices, coffee, and tea. A detached bunk house offers two twin over queen size bunk beds. There is a mini split for AC/heat in the bunk house, but it is not suitable for sleeping in the winter. Cabin rental includes use of lilypad, paddle board, two kayaks, life jackets, and solo stove fire pit. Having traveled with children, we have tried to have just about everything you can think of for your kids so your trip can be as stress-free as possible! Pack and play, monitor, highchair, and a baby bath can be set up before your stay at your request. Dogs are allowed but we do require an additional pet fee for cleaning. Pets are not allowed on any furniture or bedding/blankets. All pet waste must be picked up before departing. Any cost for additional cleaning due to pets will be passed to you after check out. Please be respectful and bring a kennel if that will help your dog follow the rules. You’ll have access to house, the detached bunkhouse, and small shed that has the kayaks, paddle board, lilypad, life jackets, and fire pit inside. We live an hour away so are available in case of emergent needs. We’re always available via text! Clearwater Lake is one of the largest lakes in the area. It has two public boat launches. Kayak or take the paddle board to the sandbar, or rent a pontoon from BJ’s bait & tackle shop. Downtown Annandale is 10 minutes away and has everything you may need including a grocery store, liquor store, pharmacy, and gas station. Our dock is removed from the water October 1 and no longer available after this date. The pontoon docked is currently not available for guests. Boat rental is available through multiple companies, BJ’s Bait & Tackle is on our lake and provides this service! Security cameras on site outside only. This is for our safety and yours.
