Swallow Barn is a special find offering comfort, peace & quite and great facilities. Tucked away in the unspoilt village of Butterton it’s surrounded by beautiful walking & cycling routes, including Thors Cave. After a day exploring you can relax in the sauna, have a home cooked evening meal delivered or visit the traditional village pub. With an on-site gym, 4 acres perfect for dogs, the summer gin shed & great views over the village you’ll find it hard to leave. The space Swallow Barn is situated in the grounds of our small holding, set well back from the road, with plenty of off road parking. The barn has a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living space with dinning area for two which opens onto a small secluded south facing garden. A shower room downstairs and double bedroom upstairs. You will be welcomed to Swallow Barn with homemade bread, cookies and local free range eggs. We also offer a popular fill the fridge and home cooked meal service. Menu available on booking. Guest access There is a well equipped gym and sauna onsite for guest use, secure undercover bike storage available and a workshop for any necessary maintenance. There are 4 acres of paddocks behind the barn which guests are welcome to walk in, here you will find the Gin & Fizz Shed great for sundowners with a view. There is an onsite laundry and drying room. You are welcome to charge your hybrid or electric car, there will be an appropriate charge. Other things to note There is a travel cot available for one infant on request, but there is a small pond in the garden to be aware of.
