You will live in the lovingly restored Eifel Cottage on our historic estate dating back to 1795. The renovation was carried out from an ecological point of view and the extensive garden is managed ecologically by us. Hiking trails start right on the doorstep and lead into the extensive forest area of the Südeifel Nature Park. In the evening, you can make yourself comfortable by the stove. If you are looking for seclusion and individuality away from tourism, this is the place to be. The space You will be staying on a historic property. The cottage, together with the main house and the old foundation walls, forms a picturesque courtyard with a small water lily pond. The cottage has a Norwegian Jotul stove where you can make yourself comfortable. Guest access You have the living area all to yourself Other things to note We are located in the border triangle of Luxembourg and Belgium. Both countries are 25 km from us. For nature lovers, the adjacent German-Belgian Hohes Venn Nature Park with its moorland as well as the Vulkaneifel Nature Park with its legendary maars are worthwhile destinations. A visit to the Moselle with its lovely half-timbered houses is also beautiful. City trips to Trier (the oldest city in Germany), Bernkastel, Luxembourg, Vianden Echternach and others are recommended. In Waxweiler, 4 km away, there is a nice swimming pool and shopping facilities. We live with a well-behaved dog. In addition to the price, the municipality charges a guest fee of €1 per person per night. This amount must be paid on site
