Stairway to Haven is a classic lakeshore cottage with 4 bedrooms situated in the historic Highland Park neighborhood , just a short walk to Lake Michigan beaches and minutes from downtown Grand Haven The space INSIDE THE HOUSE The home has four bedrooms and one bathroom, a fully stocked kitchen, spacious living room, and porch areas as well as outdoor sitting areas behind the property and on the side of the house. Two parking spaces are provided. *Please note that this property is at the top of the hill and there are many stairs (100) to climb to get to the home* SLEEPING The cottage sleeps 6 people total which is the maximum occupancy allowed by the city. EATING There is a small dining room table in the kitchen that seats 4, and a larger one in the dining room area off the living room that seats 6 people. Other things to note THE LOCATION Highland Park sits across the street and up the hill from Grand Haven State Park. The house is located in the back of the community. Note the property is only accessible by steps up from the parking area. There are close to 100 stairs to get to the property. CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT TIMES Check In-Time: 4pm Check Out-Time: 10am *Please note that early check-ins and late checkouts are not available. PARKING There are two angled marked parking spots. CANCELLATION POLICY - To receive a full refund, you must cancel within 24 hours of booking, and the cancellation must occur at least 7 days before check-in. - If cancellation is made at least 30 days before check-in, you will receive a full refund. - If cancellation is made between 7 and 30 days before check-in, you will receive a 50% refund. - If cancellation is made less than 7 days before check-in, there is no refund. MANAGEMENT This property is managed locally by BVW Unsalted Vacations. We provide professionally laundered linens, bath and beach towels as well as a starter supply of paper and cleaning products and after hours maintenance service. All BVW Unsalted Vacations rentals follow local and state tax rules. Your reservation includes applicable taxes, a cleaning fee, and a Damage Protection policy. Please note that all guests are required to sign a rental agreement within 48 hours of making their reservation. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of the reservation.
