Hot Tub & Indoor Pool in Stunning Peak District

Situated in the stunning Peak District National Park, 15 mins from Alton Towers, sleeps 7 + babies. The shared seating areas, pizza oven & outdoor fireplace are perfect for summer days & cozy winter marshmallow toasting & stargazing! The space We love the beautiful Peak District National Park where we live in and really enjoy sharing it with our guests. We are only a small holiday provider, with 2 separate cottages, so we are very flexible and work really hard to meet your individual holiday needs. Our aim is to provide you with a holiday experience that is easy and relaxing and we are on hand to help with anything you may need. We can provide cots, bedding, night lights and high chairs at no additional cost, just let us know if you need them and we will have them ready for when you arrive. We will leave a welcome pack in your cottage that includes tea, coffee, milk & a home made cake. Let us know if you have any cake preferences, we can do chocolate, Victoria sponge or Biscoff! If you are returning to stay with us again you can look forward to some extra local treats too! As well as our beautiful accommodation it is the outside spaces and shared facilities that make a holiday stay at Butterton Moor House stand out and the warm summer days and evenings mean you can make the most of the many outdoor spaces. Our Loft guests have a private hot tub with stunning views, a great place to sit and watch the sunset! Please be aware that the hot tub is available to guests staying for 2 nights or more. Guests staying for 1 night only do not have the use of the hot tub unless they opt to pay the additional hot tub fee of £50. Our wonderfully warm pool is perfect for swimming or just floating away the stresses of busy days out and about. The pool has a seating area for non swimmers to sit and watch and a changing area and separate toilet. Pool availability is detailed in the Guest Access section. Off the pool area is our billiards room which houses a beautifully refurbished full sized antique snooker table and we have cues and chalk available for guests who would rather not bring their own. Both of our properties have plenty of private outdoor spaces and additionally we have a shared terrace with a wonderful pizza oven, a BBQ, seating and an outdoor fireplace, which is a perfect space for the long summer evenings and toasting marshmallows! There is plenty of safe and contained outdoor space for children to run and play and for adults to sit and relax and the Loft has its own private terrace with comfy outdoor sofas and a large garden next to the hot tub. Guest access We want you to enjoy all that Butterton Moor House has to offer and there are very few areas that are not accessible. We want all our guests to have comfortable, relaxing and safe holiday. The 2 holiday cottages at Butterton Moor House share some of the wonderful facilities on offer, such as the swimming pool, the pizza oven area and the billiards room. Guests are normally happy to agree times to use these areas between themselves but we are always happy to help if needed. Generally we ask guests to use the shared facilities between the hours of 08:30 and 21:30, however, let us know if you would like to use any areas outside these times. We try to be as accommodating as possible and if guests are happy to keep noise to a minimum after 2130 so as not to disturb each other we are happy too! The Loft hot tub is available until 22:30 in the evening when it will automatically shut down. Please keep noise to a minimum after 21:00 so other guests are not disturbed. Please be aware that the hot tub is only available to guests staying a of minimum 2 nights and above. Guests staying for 1 night do not have the use of the hot tub unless they opt to pay the additional hot tub fee of £50. The swimming pool is used by our local community on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and is therefore not available between approximately 0915 and 1715 on these days, however you are free to swim before or after when the pool will be solely for our guests to use. During half term school holidays we will reduce the local community swimming to ensure our guests get plenty of pool time! You are welcome to bring pool inflatables but please ensure that they do not have glitter, sequins or anything else inside them! If they do and they pop in the pool we know from experience that they seriously damage the pool filtration and heating system. The only areas not available to guests are the stable yard, where there is heavy farm machinery moving around, and the fields surrounding the property where our often unpredictable horses graze! Please NEVER feed the horses or ponies. Let us know if you would like to meet the animals. We are really happy to introduce our guests to our more friendly horses and ponies and help our younger visitors give them a carrot! We have dogs in our family at Butterton Moor House; beautiful black Labradors called Bandit and her daughter Rosie, a red Labrador called Willa and 2 very naughty Dachshunds called Jazz and Elf. The dogs are not allowed into any holiday cottage accommodation, no matter how longingly they look at you, (which they will!!), but if you would like to meet our dogs let us know, they love playing ball and are very entertaining! All our holiday accommodation and facilities are totally non smoking and non vaping. If you need to smoke or vape please ask for ash trays and only smoke outside but well away from the stable yard area. Please make sure all cigarettes are fully extinguished before leaving them. Other things to note Butterton Moor Hay Loft sleeps 7 guests in 5 beds. We can accommodate 1 additional child on a camp bed, which is best suited to smaller children, however, we cannot accommodate additional adults. There is an additional charge of £40 per night for an additional guest. Babies, aged 2 & below are not counted as additional guests and we can provide 2 travel cots and high chairs free of charge. Toddlers and children aged 3 and above are counted as additional guests. We rarely offer 1 night stays but when we do please note that the hot tub is not included in the nightly price but can be paid for additionally at a cost of £50.
