Come farmstay at a homestead at our unique, bespoke, completely private little house, that is totally off-grid and almost fully self sufficient. The homestead farm is tucked away in an indigenous forest and the secluded, comfortable, eco-cottage overlooks the Gonubie River valley a stone's throw from East London, with easy access to East London Airport (King Phalo Airport). You are welcome to take a tour of the farm and systems, harvest your own organic vegetables, or just relax on the deck. The space We are on a small farm and are based roughly on permaculture principles. The view is spectacular, and the atmosphere is peaceful. The farm runs exclusively on solar power, so no load shedding. Guest access There is plenty of free parking on the farm, which is behind a locked gate. We feel very safe here and hope you do too. Other things to note We are at the end of a 2.4km dirt road, but it is fine for a low car provided you drive slowly. We only make use of awesome dry compost toilet system on the farm. Which is certainly not a long drop and should not smell. We love our compost toilets.
