Bunk Room at Megumi Chalet

The Bunk Room at Megumi Chalet, an owner-occupied lodge located in the heart of Government Camp, is a private area located on the first floor. It has twin bunk beds. One lower bunk is a full bed (sleeps 2). Accompanying this room is a private bathroom. The room also has a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, Keurig, electric kettle, dishes and dining table. The space Megumi Chalet is an owner-occupied lodge, close to 4 ski areas and many trails for winter activities. There is an abundance of summer activities - summer skiing, hiking, climbing, swimming, rafting, an Adventure Park - all near the Chalet. The Chalet has 4 separate, private sleeping areas. An elevator services the upper floors. There is a large first floor entryway with room to hang outdoor gear and a large drying rack for boots and gloves. The garage has room for gear storage and tuning of skis and boards. The second floor has a shared living room, dining room and fully-equipped kitchen with shared guest refrigerator. A number of breakfast items, including a coffee/tea/cocoa bar, are available for our guests. Guest access All guests have access to their assigned space and all shared areas: living rooms, kitchen, dining room, large entryway, garage. Off-street parking is available for guests. The owners have private quarters not available to guests. During your stay Upon arrival, we will be here to greet you and introduce you to the amenities of the Lodge. You will also be given a code to the front door which is to be kept locked at all times. We want you to feel at home while you are our guests so please feel free to ask for anything you need. Other things to note The owner’s private quarters are on the second floor but kitchen and dining/living rooms are shared spaces. The wifi access information is available in each room. Because we are longtime residents/skiers/hikers/climbers on Mt. Hood, we are able to give you information and tips on activities in the area. In the second floor living area, there is also a nice selection of books on Mt. Hood for your information and reading pleasure.
