No.2 Test View is an old railway cottage that has been extended and modernised into a beautiful family home in central Stockbridge. It is surrounded by trees and nature, providing a lovely outdoor space. A short 5 minute walk will bring you onto Stockbridge High Street and the famous River Test, renowned for trout fishing. There's lots to explore including Winchester and Salisbury as well as the New Forest and beautiful south and jurassic coast. Longer term rental considered. The space Most guests comment on the lovely decor of the house. It's bright and airy in the summer and warm and cosy in the winter. Downstairs has a triple aspect lounge with a French door leading to a private patio area. There are two modern log burning stoves, so easy to light, with warm oak flooring throughout. The kitchen is equipped to the highest standards and is a great space to cook and chat whist enjoying a drink. Upstairs had a small landing leading to the master bedroom and ensuite, a second large bedroom with nice views and a cosy single room. All rooms are furnished and decorated to a high standard. The large bedrooms both have superking beds. The large family bathroom is stunning with a walk in shower and enclosed huge bath. Outside is very special, comprising a well stocked garden, three patio area and log cabin with a bunk for sleeping. It is surroundrd by a high bank to the rear and woods to the side. It's very private and such a pretty area to relax. There is also parking outside the property for at least 4 cars on the quiet road.
