Edgewater is centrally located off of Route 1 (Schoodic Scenic By-way) in Sullivan Harbor. You can enjoy our beach and picnic tables on the wharf while surrounded by amazing views. You will find a tennis court just a short walk up our driveway. Nearby there are restaurants, local hiking trails, and Acadia National Park (20 min to Schoodic Point and 35 min to Acadia on Mount Desert Island). Boat rides around Frenchman's Bay are available from our dock. There's a 3 night minimum stay in Cabin 2. Edgewater is on a peninsula in Frenchman's Bay. There are 7 housekeeping cottages and family home located on the property. There is access to the water both on the bay side (south) and the cove side facing west looking at Tidal Falls. We have arranged picnic tables, adirondack chairs, and benches, in places where you can relax and enjoy the views. Let us know if you would like any suggestions for your visit here. On the porch of the house there are brochures and local trail guides. There maybe a time when we are not here. We will let you know in advance of your stay and give you detailed instructions. On Route 1 just east of our street is a scenic overlook. Please drop by there and read the plaques that highlight the history of this area. There is a public tennis court located just up our driveway in the field. The wireless is Edgewater1 with security code (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). The switch for your outside light is located in the porch area. It is in the left corner closest to the cabin. Extra trash bags are located in the garage along with recycling bins. Please put your bagged trash in the dumpster. Let us know if you need anything else.
