In the middle of the incredibly charming Old Town in Fredrikstad you live in a modern, cozy and warm 90 sqm apartment in a building from 1794! Private entrance from the street, parquet floors, heating cables in kitchen and bathroom. Fireplace, 2 spacious bedrooms, large living room and cozy kitchen with large dining table, nice bathroom with bathtub/shower, washing machine, dryer, Wi-Fi, 75" TV. A bedroom with a double bed and a room with a single bed with a drawer bed, and a large daybed in the living room also has room for one or two people. The space The apartment is centrally located in the Old Town, between the square and the embankments towards the river Glomma, with a short distance to cafes and restaurants, free ferry to Fredrikstad city center and the railway station. From April to September there is a pleasant Saturday market right outside the apartment. The Old Town is Northern Europe's best preserved fortress and is considered to be the first Renaissance city in Norway, with a lot of exciting architecture and history, and was founded by the Danish King Frederick II in the 16th century. The Old Town is located 70 minutes from the capital Oslo. Guest access Guests will have access to the whole apartment, and have their own entrance directly from the street. Other things to note The old town has many nice offers, but is also a place with a rare calm and relaxed atmosphere if you want an alternative to the big city's hustle and bustle. An ideal place if you are going to write a book or master's thesis or need to calm down a few days or weeks in a sabbatical year from work.
