Cottage in Goole

Self contained one bedroom cottage in countryside with plenty of walks & a close village pub. Cottage offers kitchen with a fridge which has a small freezer section, dishwasher, washing machine, cooking accessories, tea & coffee, dining table & chairs for four. Living area with comfortable seating & TV. Bedroom has a king size bed, space for single bed (upon request) and space for a cot (cots not provided). Bathroom with walk in shower & separate bath. Parking available on site. Guest access Guests are able to use the garden space around the cottage entrance. Table and chairs are available for use in good weather. Other things to note - Our property and grounds are non smoking throughout, please respect this while staying with us. - Please note the cottage is in our garden which our dog uses, she is very friendly and welcoming. If you would like to sit with the cottage door open we recommend keeping the bottom section closed and the top half open, otherwise you may find her sitting on the sofa . . . . if your dog/s prefer to be alone please do get in touch as we can accommodate this if required. - Please ensure when leaving / returning to the cottage either gate you use is securely closed behind you to ensure our dog can't get out, both gates have latches, if you can please ensure these are used. - We have parking space for 1'vehicle only which is down the side of our house. - Please ask if you wish to bring any pets, this can be possible if asking prior to booking and will incur additional cleaning fees of £10 per night, payment is required in advance of your stay. - The Half Moon Inn, is around a 10'minute walk into the village, turn left out of the drive and keep walking until you find it. They have lovely food, are VERY dog friendly, have a small outside play area and indoor / outdoor seating. The pub can get busy at times so if you are wanting food it is recommended to book a table for both the bar and in their restaurant. **Please check with the Half Moon Inn directly for opening days and food service options. This does vary throughout the year** - Local walks along the riverbank can be accessed by turning left out of the drive and around 5’hours down to the left there is a public footpath leading down to the riverbank, turning left at the end you can walk to Swinefleet village where there is a garage with a small shop and a local pub. Turning right you can walk to the end of Reedness, passing the pub, and upto the Church which is located in Whitgift, if you choose you can continue to walk the riverbank upto the lighthouse and further should you wish to do so where you would reach RSPB Blacktoft Sands.
