Roost in the Barn - Whispering Pines Bed & Breakfast

Two Beds and Pet Friendly. Experience a night in a renovated horse barn. Rate is for double occupancy. The Barn has 1 king bed and 1 double bed, sitting area, bath with tiled shower and is separate from the main house. We offer a gourmet breakfast. Choose a private get-away or a Bed and Breakfast experience. Additional fees are paid on arrival for breakfast, occupancy over 2 and pets. Please note that taxes will be due upon arrival. Taxes, which are separate from Airbnb room charges and service fees, are not collected by Airbnb. Taxes that will be due are Sales @ 7%, Lodging @ 3%, NC Occpancy @ 4.5% = 14.5% The space The “Roost in the Barn” is located 100 yards from the main house, is set back from the street with a private drive and entrance. The 1 king bed, 1 double bed, bath and living area has 200 square feet of space. Guests have their own driveway and the outdoor area is furnished with lawn furniture. The space is quiet and private for those who simply want to "get away". Guest access Our 6 acre, secluded property boasts 150 year old pine trees, flower and water gardens. Guests also have access to the Whispering Pines main house with its wrap around porch and common areas. Including hot tub, fire pit, parlor and den with games and movie library. Beverages (assorted teas, lemonade, hot chocolate) are always available in the dining room along with our homemade chocolate chip cookies and mixed nuts. During your stay Jeanna, the innkeeper and your hostess, lives on property in separate quarters and is available for tours or questions. If not on property, she can be reached via text or phone. We recommend guests join us for our gourmet breakfast experience (additional fee) that is served in the main house dining room or seasonally, on the wrap-around porch. Dinner service is offered with advanced reservations. Snack trays, cooking classes, massages and other amenities are offered at additional cost.
