Cabin in Fleischmanns

Driving west through the Catskills, you’ll climb a few winding mountain roads to find yourself at our cabin, Black Bear Ridge. The secluded and comfortable home is nestled between woods and meadows on a 5+ acre property. This 4 bedroom, 2 bath home has been lovingly updated to create an inviting woodsy cabin feel that’s perfect to share with friends & family. The space The main living space is open and light-filled, boasting a wood-burning fireplace, skylights, and two sliding doors to the outside deck. This room includes a big couch and rocking chair, a dining table that seats 8, and a kitchen worthy of a home-cooked meal. Downstairs you'll also find two bedrooms and one full bathroom. Upstairs you'll find two more bedrooms and a full bathroom. BEDROOMS: Downstairs bedrooms (2) -The front bedroom has a queen bed and a small Roku TV. -The back bedroom has a bunk bed with twin mattresses, and blackout shades for the little ones. Upstairs bedrooms (2) -The front bedroom has a queen bed, a closet, and a private balcony. -The back bedroom has a queen bed and a closet. BATHROOMS: Downstairs full bathroom has a stall shower and laundry access. Upstairs full bathroom has a small tub/shower combo. KITCHEN: Stocked with pots, pans, cutlery/serving-ware, coffee pot, glasses, French press, coffee maker, dishwasher, oven/stove, toaster, microwave, etc. Our land is yours to roam. It includes 3 acres of woods surrounded by a guiding stone wall. The large yard is perfect for running down and hopping over into the meadow to pick wildflowers in the summer. The property is on a gravel dead-end road, so is fairly secluded and quiet. Fleischmanns is located 5 minutes from Belleayre Ski Center in the winter and Belleayre Beach in the summer; it’s a great place to be year-round! 20 minutes to the Phoenicia Diner and the Esopus Creek. 15 minutes from all of Big Indian’s best hikes. 30 minutes from the bustling farm centers of Bovina, Andes and Delhi (where Wayside Cider and Brushland Eating House are located). It’s an hour back into the towns of the Hudson Valley, which make for nice day-trips. *We allow one dog with approval. If you are leaving our home, the dog must be crated. After 6 guests, we charge $30/night per person. We ask that you treat the home as if it were your own, and leave it as you found it.
