Description
The Granary is a beautiful converted barn on a rural lane in the Blackwater Valley, with picturesque river and lake walks within a 5 min stroll. Rivervale Barn wedding venue is a very short 2 min drive away and Crowthorne Station is a 10 min walk away. The Sandhurst Military Academy is close by and the towns of Ascot and Windsor are easily reached by car. We have private parking on site. The space The large private suite consists of a double bed, tv, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. The en -suite bathroom has a bath with shower over. The room is dual aspect with very high ceilings and has lovely views over the front lawns and the courtyard which was the original Ambarrow Dairy Farm. A continental breakfast of warm croissants, pastries, juice and tea/coffee is available for an additional £7 per person. The house has 2 large lounge areas so guests are very welcome to come downstairs and use one of these areas to relax in. You are welcome to use one of the 2 fridges and may use the kitchen with prior arrangement. You are also most welcome to enjoy the front garden and courtyard. PLEASE NOTE should you require use of a second double bedroom which also has use of it's own bathroom we have the 2 rooms together on a separate listing. Guest access There are many lovely countryside walks direct from the house throughout the local lakes and the Blackwater Valley. Horseshoe Lake with it's watersports centre and cafe are a short stroll away. Moor green lakes nature reserve is also nearby. April is the perfect time to explore the stunning bluebell woods opposite the Granary which attracts visitors from far and wide.
