It's a driving distance of about 20 minutes. There is also bus connection from Heraklion, the ticket costs about 5 euros per person. The taxi ride for up to four passengers costs 40 euros for more than four passengers you need a mini bus that charges 60 euros in total. Chania airport is about two hours driving.
