Enjoy spending time together in the spectacular open plan living space, head outside to the large garden or walk out on to the beach for a stroll, swim or cycle. The owners have lovingly and cleverly restored this beach house into an incredible holiday home for multigenerational families or groups of friends to enjoy. There is also a lovely sheltered garden at the back with a sauna and a shower. Entrance Hall Ground Floor Stepping off the beach into the house, you enter into the kitchen/sitting room space. Kitchen/sitting room At one end of the room is a fantastically equipped kitchen with a large island and all the appliances you need. A large double sided glass wood burning fire separates the room into the sitting room area. Large comfy and bright coloured sofas surround the fire and the large plasma TV screen. A large pink ostrich feathered light stands in one corner and incredible artwork surrounds you. There is also a high tech music system throughout the house and WIFI. Dining Room A beautiful dining room with seating for twelve comfortably and doors on into the garden. Fun bright artwork and gorgeous furniture surround the room. Bedroom - Sleeps 3, with three cleverly designed bunk beds and space for travel cots. Pretty lighting in the shape of balloons, which the children will love. Hallway leading to; Bedroom - Sleeps 2, with a double bed, built in wardrobe, side tables and lamps. Bedroom - Sleeps 2, with a double bed, wardrobe, storage space, side tables and lamps. Bathroom - The most unique and magical bathroom in a bright green decor with a huge bath, shower, basin and WC. Bedroom with ensuite - Sleeps 2, with a double bed, wardrobe and en-suite walk in shower room with WC and basin. First Floor Bedroom - Sleeps 2, with a Super king four poster bed, brightly decorated pink wardrobes and a magnificent bathroom with a huge roll top bath and views to the garden. Office space Just off the bedroom, on the landing, is an office space overlooking the sea. Garden A good sized lawned garden which is sheltered. Built in trampoline and play area for children and a sauna in one corner. Parking Please note that there is space for two vehicles outside Down's Cottage itself. For extra spaces, you can park locally for free within a 5 minute walk from the house. Things You Need to Know Towls and linen are provided. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Wi-Fi available throughout. Free parking outside the house. Please do not park in front of neighbours houses. From May-December 2025, a section of the garden will be fenced off due to a new sauna/shower room being installed. Please note there will be NO sauna during this time. House Rules We would respectfully ask that the following house rules are adhered to, to avoid any damages. Should any damages arise please note charges may be taken from your security deposit. Please note check out is 10am. Please ensure you vacate on time to allow our housekeepers to enter the property and prepare it for the next guests. Please note that this is a 'shoes off' home. For fire safety reasons, smoking or vaping are not permitted inside or outside the property at any time. Please no charging of vapes or e-scooters and lastly, please do not use candles in the property. Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house. This property accepts a maximum of 6 adults at one time. Please be respectful to neighbours. Quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am. Parties and loud music are not permitted. Stag and hen parties are not permitted. This house is pet free, no dogs, cats or other pets allowed at any time. Guests must not use Blue Tack, Selotape or similar on any of the walls to hang decorations/banners. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire house. Other things to note Towels and linen provided. WiFi throughout. Parking for two cars available with further free parking locally.
